March 10, 2026It wasnt an easy process at all from the application process to the move in and unit itself. I got a lot of mixed communication depending on who I was talking to in the office during the application process. All around it took a little over 7 days (up until the night before move in) to get a response. After approval, the online leasing and getting my keys was a much easier process and I thought it would be up from there however the unit into was filthy upon move in. I was not able to get a tour ...before leasing (When I tried to schedule on the phone I received no answer; when i walked in about an hour into the office opening I was told there will be no one available to show anything until after 3. She did offer me a virtual tour of the floor plan a few days after) I did expect the unit to be clean and not damaged but it was far from that unfortunately. For example there was heavy dirt and debris in the fixtures, switches, and appliances, paint splatters on the floor, hair painted into the cabinets, exposed wall, damage to the bathroom cabinets that was also seen and painted over (that the office requested me to pay for if I wanted it repaired), missing/heavily damaged window screens and locks, left over urine on the toilets. There was also damage to the kitchen countertops, which the office insisted I take off work for with no financial assistance for the contractors to fix. They were flexible after I asked for financial assistance, scheduling on a Saturday, coming late and canceling. In the end I still had to take off work for another situation I am not at all in fault for. Again these thing should have been completed before move in and to put the residence at an inconvenience was very wrong, no accountability was taken in that instance. When I was attempting to reach out to Graystar to give them this information, I was told I was not to contact them. The frustration it has caused has been crazy to this day. I can say the neighborhood is quite, and the staff is friendly. However the way the residents situations are pushed off as small when they are large is upsetting. When i was in the office discussing my concerns another resident came in concerned about a work order she had been putting in since June. It definitely concerns me and i'm hoping the office can get better with handling our situations because they are a polite set of staff. February 29, 2024Apartment I moved into wasn’t as nice as the apartment I was showed. Put in a request for all the things i needed fixed when I first moved in and they didn’t fix anything except cleaning. Girls in the office are okay just sometimes rude. Also it’s always hard to get ahold of someone in the office.
