Failed to respond to customer inquiry - Keep delaying
April 26, 2021I don't think the customer service/ management team is working effectively. I requested some information about an available apartment, the lady was responding professionally and kept promising that she will provide the information via email (as I preferred). But nothing happened after a week even though I tried to followed-up, called multiple times, sent an email, and left my contact information. I hope this is just a failure in the customer service process, not the company's ...standard. #PoorCustomerService #FailuralInTheProcessProperty Manager Responded

The team made everything so easy for me to get settled and they were great in handling any issues and concerns I had upfront, which were many. The staff went so far as to bring all my packages straight to my apartment before I was even moved in, little things like that have added up to a pleasant experience here so far. I wouldn't move here for free
January 29, 2021Most honest review about this place. I think the people giving 5 stars either messed up or were paid. I have seen hundreds of people move out during my time here, each dissatisfied and angry at themselves for signing here. Please see Blake's review below as well. I feel like he hits some major points. Overall this is a great building in terms of the looks. Don't be fooled - it is ran like a daycare. There is no autonomy and you are constantly suffocated or harrased about something. Everything is ...either broke or unavailable right now. Your "amenities" have been unavailable since Covid. I have reluctantly been a tenant here for 30 months. The dog park, which was intended to be turf, is more of a mud pit. It was intended to be a private and locked dog park, however the gate has been damaged since the summer, there is always poop everywhere, no dog bags, and the trash cans are more than. The gym has just been reopened after being closed for nearly 1 year - despite every other gym being open in STL County. The rooftop pool has been burnt down since the summer and the owner is more concerned about opening his new building right around the corner than taking care of his old one. The entire upstairs amenity is still closed even 6 months later. We used the pool maybe 2 times this entire last year because that was the only time it was open or the only time they allowed residents up there. Amenities are essentially unavailable. The door to the "secure" parking lot outside doesn't lock. I have seen the lot wide open almost daily with unintended individuals in it. We had a bullet shot into our window on the 6th floor and the floor above had an "accidental discharge" as well. Nobody was notified. Their idea of security guard is someone sleeping in a chair letting everyone in that looks friendly. The fire alarms randomly go off about every 2 weeks in the middle of the night. Maintenence will enter your house at all hours of the day, including after business hours. They give you just a broad range of dates they will come and then just randomly choose one to enter on since they gave you notice. They hired a new manager now since the previous one was so bad, and she isn't much better. The new one did not give me the option to renew my lease so I took this as they knew I wasn't staying. Now when I go to move out on 2/1 they are trying to charge me $800 for a reletting fee because they didn't know my apartment was available.Property Manager Responded

Horrific Business Practices / Grey Star Property
January 5, 2021Do Not Rent from Monogram or Grey Star Property Management! I moved out in Nov 2020, never got my security deposit back. It's simply the worst customer service ever! If I email them, they say the same thing for weeks now, “the check in the mail.” As of 1/5/2021, I have not received my security deposit back. I had a friend tell me that Grey Star Property was trouble, and I would have lots of issues; I did not believe him. Please, please learn a lesson from me to stay away; they have horrific ...business practices. October 22, 2020The overall cleanliness and upkeep of property is excellent however, for residents with pets that allow them to urinate right outside the entryway leaves a horrible smell. I would hope for some kind of rule or policy that would encourage pet owners to not practice this.Property Manager Responded
