      My wife and I lived at Montessa at Whitney Ranch for three years, and I want to share our honest experience for anyone considering this property. Over time, we saw a noticeable decline in the condition of the community and in the consistency of management. Many issues we reported went unresolved for long periods, and some were never addressed at all. Communication was inconsistent, and certain interactions left us feeling singled out in ways that added unnecessary stress to our daily life. For ...
      anyone researching this complex, I strongly recommend reading the Yelp reviews as well. They provide a broader and more detailed picture of what long-term residents have experienced. The feedback there aligns much more closely with what we encountered during our time here. After three years, our experience was not what we expected when we moved in.       Fantastic location, nice grounds, great neighbors in my building. Not sure how any tenant could have a problem with management unless the tenant is the problem! We've had no issues. I do wish more people would use their garages for their cars though.

      Office staff, Lindsay in particular is rude and condescending towards tenants needs or issues. Maintenance as well. Freddie and James were very good but are now gone. Couldn’t understand why?Then Johann was made the manager of maintenance. Wow! What is wrong here.

      I am very disappointed with the management's handling of our deposit. After living in the apartment for only one year and leaving it in perfect condition, we were charged additional $550 for their decision to repaint the walls to a different color (gray). Before moving out, we asked if there was anything else we needed to do to ensure we’d receive our deposit, and they assured us everything was fine. Be aware—this management seems unlikely to return your deposit fairly.

As was shared with you previously, the apartment needed to be painted, but you were not charged for the premium we paid for the new color. You were given a standard wear and tear allowance for the months you lived here and were sent invoices to support these charges, but please let us know if you would like to review them again.
