July 26, 2015 - Review from Apartments.comThe building itself is very poorly constructed. The walls are paper thin, you can literally hear a pen drop from the other room. The cabinets never close right. The floors are vinyl which would have been great, but then the management put a wood themed sticker over the entire thing to make it look like hardwood floors, so now its very slippery and scuffs very easily. The windows are are old and don't open very well, they also have double layered sections that are unreachable by a human hand, ...these spots are covered in mold with very little I can do about it. They lack adequate laundry facilities, 4 washers for 55 units. You would think that paying over 2 thousand dollars for a small two bedroom unit with all utilities on me that the management would be able to upgrade the building, instead the higher ups get breast implants for their wives. But what can you do about it? I'm leaving once the lease expires.Read More

June 5, 2014 - Review from Apartments.comAfter looking endlessly, I found the perfect place to live. Normandy Park is an established complex in Santa Clara near 880 at Bascom/Washington Street. The complex is very clean and well managed with neatly kept landscaping. There are two pools, a small gym and very large, clean laundry rooms. There are two stories to the buildings and assigned parking is underneath. The spaces are very roomy and there seems to be plenty of visitor parking. I leased a 1BR, 1BA unit. It is a very large apartment ...(850 s.f.) with lots and lots of storage. Everything is up to date--appliances, new carpet, lighting, freshly painted. Beautiful apartment! Each unit has either a balcony or a small patio area accessed by a sliding glass door. They allow pets (which is a real challenge to find). I can't say enough about how great the managers are. They are so very friendly, helpful and know everything you need to know about the apartments and the complex. Talking with them was like talking to a good friend. Welcome Home gifts were left in my apartment by the management and the owners of the complex on move-in day. This complex is very conveniently located and there are shops all around the area. Just a few blocks from Valley Fair. I didn't want to move away from Santa Clara and I was losing hope that I would find a nice, affordable place in a good neighborhood that accepts pets. My prayers were answered! I couldn't be happier.Read More
