Kicked me out mid Covid shut down

The put a letter on my door the 2nd month of the shut down. I was one of the people that couldn’t work, however I paid my rent and the only time I was late was the first month and they were aware, I made sure to keep in contact. I paid my rent and when my lease was ready to renew they asked me in the office if I wanted to renew early and I told them I would think about it. A week later, they put a 30 day notice to leave and they would not renew my lease due to late payment. A late payment I had ...
absolutely no control over and paid it as soon as the funds were available and made sure my rent was paid even with the “eviction protection” I then had to hire an attorney to fight this which bought me more time. Not sure if you’ve ever tried to lease another place with no active job, but it’s near impossible. After 2 months of actively searching and waiting to go back to my full time job I found a place to rent and moved out. I did a complete walk through there was no damage everything was in the shape I left it. A year later I get a charge on my credit from this complex. I contacted the office before I moved out and they refused to talk to me because I had an attorney involved. Not sure what the charge is but it’s not right. Not only did they kick me out in a stressful time when they couldn’t do so, they then charged me and they kept my deposit. I never received any communication of charges that were owed and my rent was current and paid. I didn’t want to move but I was forced out for literally no reason
