Very enjoyable experience
August 2, 2020I really enjoyed living in Oakwood. My daughter enjoyed the friends she made and they did a lot of extra activities for the kids. Apartment living was excellent here the best it could be actually. I had great neighbors and the office staff was always kind and cheerful. Maintenance went above and beyond with assisting me at pet much everything I asked. Updated apartment had beautiful new carpet new appliances and new bathrooms. My view was amazing with so much wildlife! Would recommend!Review from Apartments.com
Peaceful and enjoyable

Not happy
November 5, 2019The staff was very rude when me and my family lived there. We JUST had a baby and they still proceeded to kick us out for hear say. The neighbors was very rude. I couldn't even go out on my porch to smoke a cigarette without being accused of something. I was just informed the other day that the staff still talks about us and tells everyone how they were happy we was out and how they "never liked us". Very unprofessional. Have had times with maintenance and the office lady just walks into the ...apartment we was renting for a "surprise inspection" and I was in the middle of breastfeeding my less than 2 week old baby. When confronted she said "we do not have to give the notice if it's for a legitimate cause and your under eviction anyways so.." I have many recordings on the conversations me and the employers had. I moved in during the renovation.Property Manager Responded

Nicely Renovated
September 21, 2017I've lived here for less than a year--when I first moved in, my apartment was good, but since Lockwood took over there have been a lot of unexpected improvements taking place. My apartment was renovated completely--new kitchen area with new appliances, fresh carpet and flooring throughout. They power washed the outside of the building and put in a lot of beautiful new landscaping. Also the parking lot used to have lots of pot holes and now its fresh and smooth.
