July 21, 2025Not the newest property in town, but it’s perfect! It’s close to shopping and some great food, but then you come home and it’s like living in a park. I love seeing the wildlife. The Best Apartment Complex Around :)
November 19, 2024I have been living in Old Farm Shores Apartments for almost 2 years and I can say with complete confidence, I love it! I love the atmosphere & vibe. Pretty much everyone I encounter, neighbors & all, seem very kind & friendly. Nice trails you can walk & bike nearby. I love walking around at night with my dog and seeing a bunch of sweet deer. I love the ponds with all the geese & ducks. I love that it is pet friendly. My pup loves the dog park & I love all the other pups. My daughter & I love the ...pool, which is a very nice pool & always clean. They have a nice gazebo you can host a bbq in the summer or just cook dinner for the fam & a fire pit area. A nice little gym & club house. The club house has games/hangout area you can access unless there's a party. They also always do cool events like free dinners, cookie decorating, contests, etc, thought the year. The area in general is pretty nice. I hardly hear any disturbances. The staff is GREAT! Maintenance will get on your request on the same day. Larry, Tasha & Patty are awesome office peeps, the best! Kara is the BEST property manager EVER!!! She is truly amazing! Any of them will always help you with anything you need. I love living here! I definitely recommend it if you're looking for a great, safe, peaceful place to live :)Property Manager Responded

Great place to live
December 12, 2023Old farm shores not be the newest of apartments, but the staff sure makes it the best place to live! The resident events, such as Christmas in July, game nights, hot cocoa bars and cookie decorating are so much fun… there is always something to do. Excellent place to live
November 28, 2023I have really enjoyed my time at Old Farm Shores since being relocated back to the GR area. I took a 2-bedroom that gives me plenty of space to work from home and also have my dogs feel comfortable. Patty in the office showed us the dog park right away and I appreciate how pet-friendly they are here and in the surrounding area. Definitely recommend.Property Manager Responded

Affordable living in a nice neighborhood
June 1, 2022The apartments and the grounds are well maintained. The admin and support staff are friendly and helpful, very responsive if you call for maintenance. There are multiple sizes of apartments for rent. There's an option for carport parking, for a nominal monthly fee. With a walking trail on the edges of the property, small lakes/ponds for catch and release fishing, a swimming pool and various apartment community events, there are plenty of things to do without necessarily having to into the city. ...There are plenty of stores, restaurants and doctors offices in the immediate area. The airport is close enough to be convenient, but far enough away so that the noise isn't bothersome.Property Manager Responded

My everyday vacation home
August 27, 2021So here's my honest review of why I gave Old Farm Shore a 5 star review For everyone that reads my post my name is Janet. I wanted you to know that this is a real and honest review of my experinces and why I rented my apartment home here at Old Farm Shores. What can I say but from the start but I truly feel and felt Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!!! I could start by telling you about how spacious the apartments are, or how beautiful the ambience with the ponds(plural)and ducks make me feel ...like I am always on vacation. But instead I am a firm believer that first impressions are lasting impressions. Which is the heart and soul of this reveiw and our story. Last year I actually came in to see about an apartment and I met Patty one the Leasing agents there. I've never met such a kind, sweet,and knowledgeable real estate professional. The only reason I did not rent the apartment last year in 2018 Because I rented a place that was 2 minutes away from my job and, in the summer I could even walk to the job and save on gas if I wanted to. So when my employer moved this year to the Kentwood area I came back to Old Farm Shore. And one of the thing that impressed me most is that a year later Patty the leasing professional still rembered me they all made me feel that we made the right decision to call North Shore Drive our new home. In our search for our version of the perfect home we checked out several diffrent apartments, condo's,and town home communities and my roomate and I always compared each apartment visit to the experience we had with Patty. We soon realized that none of the other places we visited gave us that real and genuine concierge customer service we recieved from Patty at Old farm Shores. The other visits to the other apartment communities felt fake and contrived. With each visit to Old Farm Shores we could tell that Patty was not eager to just sell us an apartment but truly trying to find the homewe can display all we worked hard for and treasure. I love living here and it's like your a family here instead of an apartment complex. I have 4 sets of neighbors and we all look out for one another.With the view of the Lake I feel like I'm on vacation and staying at a 5 star resort.This was the best move of my life.They also have community events that include movies, food,and fun. Resort style living near everything!!
August 25, 2021The loft style studios are spacious and full of natural light. Laundry is next door and balcony gives extra relax area. Pool, pet park, trails, lakes, trees, easy trash disposal, plenty of parking, and friendly staff. Best price for the works! Pet friendly and clubhouse activities.
