THIS is my second year renting with Olde Towne University Square. Though my first year's experience wasn't the greatest, I decided to give the complex another try because it's location is extremely convenient being so close to campus. The complex has many pros and cons. The pros include that it is very pretty. college student looking to move off campus as it's in walking distance. The furniture provided is a nice addition as well. The cons probably stem mostly from management. My biggest complaint came from their roommate matching service. It seemed like a rushed process to just get full apartments filled. My biggest complaint comes from management not allowing me to move without paying a $300 fee to move to a different building because I no longer wanted my matched roommate. My other serious con was that my previous building had a significant fruit fly problem. After moving and finding my own roommates, things have gotten much better. Rent may be high, but the apartments are a definite step up from living in a dorm.
