Little Italy Luxury
August 7, 2015Olea Apartments in Little Italy are beautiful, new, and in a prime location in this neighborhood of San Diego. I moved into to my unit last August after the building finished construction and I truly never want to leave! The design is sleek, contemporary, and easily complemented with different decor styles. The upside of this building is that there aren't excessive amenities that compound the rent. So we pay for what we live in; nothing else. Other communities in the area offer pools, fitness ...centers, etc. that jack up the rent for the same square footage by at least $1,000 and more. If you don't use those amenities, you're just giving away your money. And realistically, you can pay for a better equipped gym with more on-site amenities for less than actually offered at these other places and for WAY less money. Olea has a coffee shop, beer tasting room, and soon to be open "Raki Raki" sushi and ramen house, dubbed the #1 ramen house in the entire state of California via Zagat. Only a few steps away is Juniper & Ivy, an upscale restaurant curated by chef Richard Blais, Ballast Point brewery, an urban winery, and many more boutiques, restaurants, and specialty stores. Walking distance from the weekly Little Italy farmer's market offers residents fresh vegetables & fruits as well as locally produced food. Little Italy is an up and coming neighborhood of downtown San Diego, and Olea is located in a perfect spot close to the epicenter of its popular spots, but situated conveniently to not be in the middle of it all. This offers privacy, quiet, and ease of access right off the freeway. Although the flight path flies overhead, the double pane windows offer outstanding sound protection. You'd never know we're so close to an airport! I highly recommend the Olea building. I am very satisfied living here, and plan on doing so for years to come!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
