DOWNTOWN LIVING
January 15, 2025The community is located right across the street from Discovery Green, George R. Brown Convention Center. Location is everything! A short walk to Toyota Center, Minute Maid Park and lots of restaurants in every corner all within a 1-2miles from the community. My apartment has real wood floors, updated kitchen, shower and tub convo. My view from the 32nd floor is beautiful at night. There is always something happening at discovery green, the night before we had fireworks and drone show, how cool ...is that. I got a good price on my unit. It's about $300 less than the newer hi rise around the corner and about 500sqft bigger. This building also has a grocery on the ground floor and a 5-star restaurant on property. This is the best decision I made.Property Manager Responded

Amazing views, less than amazing mgmt
April 27, 2024I lived here for a year in 2018/19. I loved the location, one of the best downtown. I was on the 28th floor and the views were excellent. Watch out though, mgmt will move you in at about a 35% discount and then, even while telling you they won't raise it on you much in the years to come, once you're moved in they'll jack the rent up on year 2. Also make very sure you take pictures of the floor on move-in at all the different times of day. My wooden floor was full of small mostly ...unnoticeable scratches when I moved in, but mornings & evenings up that high they came out. The asst mgr tried to get me to replace the full floor. Fortunately the GM came to rescue mostly b/c I had good pictures & notes on move-in.Property Manager Responded

Nice location, poor maintenance
August 8, 2022One Park Place is right across the street from lovely Discovery Green Park. It was a pleasure to walk my dog there during my time at One Park Place. Unfortunately the maintenance was bad; my unit suffered from repeated ceiling leaks which the management did not seem to be able to fix. Over several weeks the ceiling leaks continued and worsened with (despite repeated claims that the problem had been resolved) water coming through ceilings and down walls, and entering the unit through a light ...fixture among other places. Simply the best building in Downtown
September 27, 2020There is no other property that touches OPP when it comes to the service and the luxury. Curtis at the front desk will know you by name the moment you move in and staff goes above and beyond to tend to your needs making things easy. From closet buildouts to to planning a party, they are there to help. The views are simply amazing and being directly in front of Discovery Green has it's perks. April 12, 2018If you want quality of life and dependable service and to be treated with grace and elegance then One Park Place is the place for you. I would not live any where else. The staff and management are the best! The units are impeccable and the grounds have a New York, Central Park appeal. March 8, 2018One Park Place our new home has rose to standards above any I have imagined. Our first week both staff & residents have made us feel welcomed. The attention you receive from the staff is incredible.
