Questionable Management
February 25, 2022Been living here for more than a year. The apartment is nice and Plaza is an awesome location but there has been a lot of parking deck issues, false alarms, and there has been issues from the management side as well. Plus my rent has gone up 40 PERCENT over last year. There are a lot of options out there. I would look at others first.Review from Apartments.com
Fire alarms go off twice a month

November 21, 2020I love love my little unit. Cute place and the few months I’ve lived here I’ve loved it. Loved the staff. Maintenance all that but the cleanliness/halls need major work. I thought it was just my little area so I went to the top floor and the bottom and almost even worse. Broken glass, bags not in bins sitting on the floor from Friday to Sunday. The stench can be horrible. Extremely embarrassing when family came to visit awhile back and they commented how nice my place was but the stench was bad ...in the halls. Please enforce trash bags. Bad customer service
August 14, 2020Was looking for a place to live in with my partner in plaza midwood. Came across what I thought would be the perfect fit. Unfortunately my experience with the leasing consultant was horrible. No follow ups, poor communication, etc. Basically had to chase them down to get information out of them. Apparently their customer service is known to be bad from some tenants I know that already live there too.Review from Apartments.com

October 2, 2017I fell in love with this place as soon as I was greeted by the staff! They are extremely friendly and gracious hosts! I moved in about 3 months ago and enjoy all the area has to offer, 2 grocery stores, over 25 retailers, and several bars and restaurants! Favorite apartment I've EVER had
September 6, 2017I am 100% in love with this place. First, I had an awesome tour and every time I chat with the staff they remember me (shoutout to Jaime in the office). Also they do a bunch of fun events for us, which is really fun. Everyone says they do that, but it doesn't always happen. I order online like constantly and all my stuff gets delivered to these lockers that I can reach all the time. My apartment has a view of the BEST pool you'll ever see at an apartment community -- there are colored lights in ...the pool its gorgeous - and there's a ton of seating around it. But I think my favorite is the gym, which is huge and open 24/7 and you can watch youtube on it or select spin classes. Lovelovelove! And literally the best neighborhood - way too many good restaurants within 1 block, if I didn't have the gym I'd die. I seriously think Plaza Midwood is a thousand times more walkable than the other places I've lived (fourth ward, south end etc). MOVE HEREProperty Manager Responded

Don't bother
June 23, 2017It's not worth the money to live here at all. We moved in two months ago with promises of so many amenities and most of them are still a long ways away from being open. The pool, gym, dog park, patios, outdoor grill, hammock garden, fire pit, bike room, etc etc are all still under construction/ they don't have the permits. We pay a monthly pest control fee but there are still bugs and I haven't seen an exterminator. There are car break ins in our garage. I mean just save yourself the hassle and ...move in somewhere that's actually done being built. It's comical to advertise amenities without a clue about when they'll open.Property Manager Responded

Train doesn't bother me at all!
June 7, 2017I thought that the train noise would be horrible because my apartment faces Central Avenue but it's not bad at all. When I first moved to CLT, I lived in the Elizabeth neighborhood and the train was much louder there...and my apartment looked out onto 7th street. If you're worried about the train, don't be! Aside from that, the location is great. I can walk across the street to Healthy Home Market or to Bistro La Bon for their yummy brunch and over a couple dozen shops, bars and other places to ...eat. I also heard from the leasing office that Yafo is opening a location right next door to the building so can't wait for that.Property Manager Responded

Loving my new apartment!!!
November 28, 2016I moved into the community in October and from beginning to end of my search, the team here at One305 Central made my experience nothing but awesome. Everyone has been super helpful, from the property manager to the leasing consultant. I am loving the apartment and there is so much within walking distance, great restaurants and grocery/retail. If I want to drive, it's just a 5 minute drive Uptown, or a $5.00 Uber ride. Everything else 20 minutes. I have yet to encounter one of the team members ...here and not been greeted with a smile and I feel like I found a home in Charlotte. Don't move here
September 19, 2016They gave us moving date on Aug 8th, they changed it at the beginning of Aug to Sep 8th. However, we moved here and the community isn't complete yet.
