9 Years of Enjoyment and Hassle-Free Living
June 30, 2023The sheer length of time my wife and I stayed in our outstanding unit (A-Upper I believe) in this community should speak for itself. After looking at quite a few fairly similar complexes in the area, we chose Overlook Lakes, and couldn't have been happier with our decision. The location, surrounding greenbelt, safety, quality and maintenance/upkeep were all top-notch. The community tends to be a bit older(especially in the owned inner ring) and relatively quiet. Rules can be a bit strict, but ...that's a standard double-edged sword in such a place. The opposite would likely devolve into something, on balance, much less desirable. If not for purchasing a new place nearby, we would've been happy to stay indefinitely. And if our unit was ever theoretically offered for sale, we would've bought it already, and this review a moot point :) I would highly recommend Overlook Lakes for those prioritizing all of the above!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Feels like a neighborhood
August 30, 2020I have lived at Overlook Lakes for over 2 years. I enjoy that fact that it does not feel like you are living in an apartment or an apartment complex. There is a true sense of neighborhood and community. The apartment is quiet and well-maintained. Excellent place to live
July 16, 2020We lived at Overlook Lakes for four years and it was one of the best places we lived. To begin, the neighborhood is immaculate, well kept and does not feel like an apartment/rental community AT ALL. I felt like we had a lot of privacy. The layout (A-upper model) was open and spacious and had ample storage (especially the storage closet near the kitchen). While I am aware some updates were made after we moved out, the quality of the fixtures, cabinets, etc. seemed high-end and well maintained. I ...think we had all of two maintenance requests (fairly minor) in the time we lived there and they were addressed immediately and professionally. We felt comfortable with the on-staff maintenance being in our home as they were always very polite and focused on fixing the issue at hand. The office staff were also always very attentive.
