Not great, but okay
August 10, 2020The complex is fine, the units are just a bit old. There were multiple occasions where the complex manager, Kimberly, seemed a bit accusatory as if the blame was on you when you file an issue.Property Manager Responded

My intention is never to have any negative interactions with our residents, but there are occasions that I am not always able to approve certain request or say yes. I have had a lot of positive feedback from residents and so I must admit, this is not easy to hear. I do want to thank you again for sharing. Excellent Management and Good Location
October 24, 2017This property is in a quiet location, nice neighborhood, and for a price that can't be beat for the area. And I don't know what previous reviewers have encountered, but I've had nothing but stellar interactions with the management and maintenance personnel - every issue or concern I've ever had has been dealt with promptly, minor things fixed expeditiously, and anybody causing trouble has been swiftly taken care of. There is on-site management, though obviously not 24/7 (that's what the phone ...line is for), but any time I've ever called Kimberly for help, she's gotten right on it. Anyhow, good place to live for the budget - an older complex, true, but par for the neighborhood, and since you can get a two or three bedroom here for the price of a studio in a new building, it's well worth a look.Property Manager Responded

Poor management and over price
July 25, 2017This apartment property need a lot of work. Parking is not good, and no security on the property. Since there was a change of management back in 2016, the property has because pooly maintain. The residents run wild, and a lot of illegal activities on the property. The unit I was In has no dishwasher and I would said only about 10% of the unit had dishwasher. There is no air conditioning in the unit, and management does not allow a/c in the window, with is not good for the elderly individual ...who live here. Laundry room are clean every morning, but my the evening time are a mess. Parking is a big problem here as well, the resident guest double park and block your space or just park in space. Street parking is available, but after 5pm it can be hard to find a parking spot. Overall, the price to live here is good, I move and paid about 20% more for my new place, but I have dishwasher, air conditioning and a lot more for my money. This complex is over price for be as old as it is....and no on site manager...Property Manager Responded
August 23, 2017In response to your review.....we asks that residents contact management if there is ever an issue on or around the property. In order for us to resolve or rectify any issues that any resident may have, we need to be informed. Management is always reachable during office hours by phone or email if not present in the office. There is also an after hours answering service for maintenance emergencies as well as on site maintenance. The reason that portable A/C's are not permitted in the units is because they can cause damage due to leaking or flooding and can cause moisture in the units which can also cause damage. Again, contacting management about any property issue helps us to get them resolved and rectified, by being made aware.

Clean apartment, but horrible management
August 14, 2015We love the location and the apartment complex is clean. There is a pool, a community washer and dryer. Our place had a spacious closet, but didn't have a dishwasher, if that is something you are looking for. It is close to a liquor store and the owners of the store are friendly and they allow you to use their parking lot that faces the fence. There's an awesome taco stand for late night food runs. There is also a gas station right next to the liquor store. If you drive 5 to 10 mins out there is ...a Safeway and fast food chains, Mountain View Downtown (where there are lots of places to eat), Sunnyvale Downtown (where it is nice to hangout especially the summer time due to their live music). Unfortunately the management is not so great. When they came in to do repairs in the bathroom they left a nasty stain on our couch and they walked in our apartment with shoes on leaving a mess on the carpet. They would enter our apartment without letting us know first (This happened several times). She also treated us very rudely in front of guests for not following the rules of the apartment (being loud after 10pm) when it was clear to everyone that we were not breaking such rule (it was before 10pm). And even though there is such a rule our neighbors would have music playing really loud throughout the night several times a month.
