Disgusting - Roach infestation from day one

Over priced
August 26, 2022This property is flooded with roaches. The tenants have to pay for the exterminator to spray but it is obviously not working and we are wasting our money. Also the staff isn't really trust worthy. They charge you for everything including water, sewer and trash and for whatever reason the price goes up every month so your total rent isn't always the same each month. Roaches and poor customer service
April 29, 2021I'll start off with the location was great and the room sizes and appliances were good. But roaches were everywhere. We broke our lease to get away from them. The move out process was ridiculous, there was bad communication. I hear nothing for 10 months and then a collections company is hounding me when I never received the charges or a way to pay them. When I called to get the breakdown I was told the manager would call me back. Never heard back.Review from Apartments.com

Roaches
June 8, 2017Moving here was the worse decision ive ever made. I wouldnt recommend this complex to my worse enemy. The roaches will drive you insane. The bombs will only make matters worse. Dont put yourself though the struggle. Move anywhere else.Property Manager Responded

Papago Crossing
August 21, 2015Numerous defects were found upon move-in. Bathroom sink and tub were severely clogged with hair, kitchen garbage disposal and dish washer leaked severel. Washer/dryer water pump was failing making an extremely loud noise that could be heard vividly from outside. My particular apartment also had an extreme roach infestation. The worst problem was with the central air. The maintenance team responded 5 times and couldn't fix it. Enough of the complaints and on to some positives. The maintenance ...crew responded within one to two hours for all issues involving the AC and water leaks. Anything that needed to be fixed immediately was quickly responded to. All maintenance issues that weren't considered emergencies ( by Arizona laws) were responded to the next day, even on weekends. The garbage disposal was replaced the same day. The dishwasher was replaced the next day. Although the maintenance team tried numerous times to fix the AC, a professional repairman was called to fix it when troubleshooting could not fix the problem. I fixed the clogged drains myself with a commercially purchased plastic drain unclogging device with small sharp barbs that is great at removing even stubborn amounts of hair. It's important to note that all apartments have roach problems and it can't be prevented entirely even with the most strict extermination programs. I fixed the roach problem myself with fipronil gel. Not a single roach has been found a week since fipronil treatment. I notified the complex management of the roach problem and they allerted all the residents of the building that a roach infestation was found in one of the apartments. In the allert they instructed the residents to notify them immediately if any roaches were found in their apartment. I have talked to my neighbors personally and they said they haven't seen any roaches in their apartment. The staff are very courteous and willing to help. The new complex management has successfully lowered crime and drug problems by administering credit and background checks for new residents. All residents are notified of criminal activity including drugs and violence. They are quick to evict residents that are convicted of a crime. Residents are friendly. I found it astonishing that residents that live around the playground look out for children at play even if they're not their own. I give this complex 3 stars at this time. August 6, 2015This place is really close to the airport so if you like planes this is the way to go. The staff are rude and not sufficient in their work. The office never answers the phone but if you walk in, there they are. Lots of noise and always homeless people in the trash looking for metals or other things.
