Forever home!
October 7, 2024I absolutely love my new apartment here at Parallax!! I knew the minute I walked into the office and took a tour of the complex and apartment, I was going to call Parallax home. The approval process was thorough yet it went quickly. Online portal for documents and payments made it even easier. All the staff here are friendly and helpful. May 19, 2024I had been looking for my own place for months. I was looking for specific requirements for myself and this was the only apartment complex that had exactly what I was hoping for. I looked online first, made an appt to see the place the next day and within a weeks time I was moving in. Beware NO electricity for 12 months
April 29, 2024We didn’t have electricity in our living room in our 1 bedroom apartment for the entire 12 months we were here. Maintenance came over 10 times to try to fix it but could not. On our last month maintenance finally told us that it’s a wiring issue and that they will have to wait until we’re out because they will need to tear up the wall. We have asked for discounts since this is a violation of our lease and they would not do it. They would not offer anything except that maintenance would keep ...coming. BEWARE of this place, we had to spend 12 months with no working electricity, fan, and outlets in our living room which is a major part of living in a 1 bed room apartment and quality of life. This place will not discount at all if there is an issue in your apartment, and will not fix it until your gone. Beware of this place!Property Manager Responded

Disasterous Management
April 2, 2021I used to really love living here, but after the winter storm in early February of 2021, I've had nothing but nightmarish experiences. My unit experienced water damage, forcing me to vacate during the storm and afterwards, as demo crews tore the walls out of my single-bedroom apartment. The demolition crew they hired went through my kitchen supplies without asking and used some of my dishes for their work, dumping them on my doorstep without cleaning when they were finished. Going on TWO MONTHS ...after the initial damage, the apartment management STILL has not taken a single action of repairing my walls. They assured me that my damage was minimum and they could "fast track" the repairs (after five weeks), but the deadline they gave me came and went without any action. I can be understanding about how slow it is to get contractors to work, but the most frustrating part is how little management seems to care about my living situation. They're still charging me FULL RENT during these two months I've been displaced (I can't stay in an apartment with exposed insulation and walls with holes where I could literally crawl through to my neighbors' unit, if I wanted) and only after a lot of frustration was I able to convince them to give me $200 in concessions (less than a fifth of my monthly rent payment). Poor Management
March 15, 2021Unfortunately there's not an option to select zero stars. Went 12 days without water and was told by the incompetent people manning the office that I should "just deal with it" and carry a bucket of water up three flights of stairs from the pool across the apartment complex to be able to use a toilet. Still waiting on an answer back from the office about when someone is going to come by here and clean up my trashed balcony full of my wall that was torn out and the plumber's personal trash they ...decided to leave behind for me and to fix the blinds they broke off of my door in the process. Dont bother moving here at all!
February 24, 2021By far the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. Parking is a joke. You will almost never get a real person when you call. They are cheaply made so you hear every little thing from your neighbors like TV, Fights, Music, Sex, etc. I've called corporate multiple times, they don't call you back. Have not had water running water to my building for over 7 days now. They turned the water on knowing they had not fixed a leak in my apartment and flooded it again and when I asked about who was ...going to replace my damaged furniture they told me to call my renters insurance even though they are the ones that Intentionally flooded it. During the big snow/freeze nobody bothered removing any of the ice or snow off the sidewalks making it safe to walk on nor did they even bother putting out any salt. After being without water for over a week they still have not provided anyone with drinking water but said we could use the pool water. I asked about getting out of my lease since they can't seem to remotely care about the residents or their well being and provide some drinking water and I was ignored. I enjoy the quiet community, the access to a gym, and the close commute to my work. This apartment I've had no maintenance issues or any infestation. It's super clean and up to date.
