This is the oldest university in Texas and thus it is a great landmark for anyone new to the place. It is a place that offers slow paced life and thus it is not so exciting for young people.
Georgetown, TX is a beautiful city and with very minimal crime. Amazing schools, shopping areas, restaurants and movie theatres make it a very exciting place to live in. It may not be the best for young professionals out of college but it is definitely a great place to settle with family.
