I have lived here for 11 years. My neighbors are decent and friendly. They keep the lot clean and grass mowed. If there
are maintenance issues I let them know and the maintenance crew is there within a reasonable time frame or at your convenience. If it's an emergency they are there quickly. For my apartment building: I have not had a problem and when I moved in my apartment was completely refurbished. It is spacious and clean. there are fees and can be rather costly. Most everyone is respectful and do not play music loud and are not obnoxious. Somewhat family friendly, though there is no playground on the premises, there are some large areas that can be used to play in, catch, or similar sports. There is a playground at the park next to the complex and almost everything is on the main road off the apartment complex. I have no plans of moving anytime soon and the rent is affordable. The kind of tenant you are is indicative of how your stay will be. As an 11 year tenant I don't put up with anything and I expect those in my building to be respectful since I am.
