My daughter and her roommate lived there for one year and paid there rent on time but to get money out of two medical students they had to pay for wear and tear on the carpet in the bedroom. They were not home much. Charged them 600 for small amount of carpet that wasn't replaced when they cam. Her last apartment not have been gated but they were much better people

The staff goes above and beyond to be helpful. Maintenance is knowledgeable, shows attention to detail, and they fix things very quickly. The office staff is polite and professional. I have lived at Parkside for about 8 months, and had an accident that made it very difficult to walk up 3 flights of stairs. We talked to the sweet ladies in the office and they helped me move to the first floor as fast as they can which was a major help and saved me some money. Any time I’ve had a maintenance request they have come either that day or the morning of the next day and fix the problem. Everyone that works here has been nothing but the nicest and most helpful people!!!

More attention to things but they do not care

Haven't pressured washed anything in a while. Looking run down but they sure can keep the front up. Gate broke at least once a month. Constant loud music from mechanic repair shop across from building. Neighbors below always fighting. Trash bins nobody cleans just nasty and makes the whole appearance from the corridors look bad. People leave trash on stairways. Gum droppings, containers, cigarette buds on stairs. Nobody bothers cleaning the stairs or keeping them blowed off from debris. Looks ...
nice from.outside but little stuff matters especially when you pay for a high quality apt complex. Racoons especially come around from the bins outside the doors of where people live bc no one refuses to clean them or bag the trash properly.

We apologize for the noise that you are experiencing, please be sure to alert the office of time and place when this is occurring so we can take the appropriate steps to try and alleviate these concerns. Regarding the pressure wash, we pressure wash buildings twice per year. April will start with building 1 through 10. Maintenance uses blower each day when he picks trash up and does each building. Our gate is in perfect working order. If it is ever not working, please notify the office, so we can repair it asap! Our groundskeeper takes care of all trash removal and grounds daily. If you see a situation where racoons are getting into trash cans please call the office right away, as they are a nuisance and cause havoc.

Because the staff fail to pick up the trash around here there are stray cats EVERYWHERE and management does nothing to get rid of these cats they are pest!!!!! Neighbors constantly putting their trash in my trash bin and they keep me up at night with their constant bickering. Have a noise complaint? Don’t bother telling the staff because they don’t help they just tell you to call the police. I did not renew my lease and I couldn’t be more happy to get out of this place.

First of all grounds always dirty, lazy maintenance staff and to complete landscaping guys I believe they smoking something not cigarettes because I hate that smell that’s why the grounds looks bad even when they do the landscape in here. Nice place but have those cons please do something about it

Keep looking. Do not waste your time here. Came home for lunch one day and came back out to leave and there was a tomato off of a sandwich on the hood of my car. Told management. Nothing done about it. There was garbage all in the parking lot and napkins in the grass in front of our apartment all the time. Nothing was ever done about that either. They leave out of the lease that you have to replace the carpet when you move out if you have a pet even when you pay a pet deposit. Apparently the ...
deposit is only for the pet to live there. Doesn’t cover any damage and isn’t refundable. The pet park the speak of is horrible. Its mainly dirt with places in the bottom of the fence where it doesn’t go all the way to the ground and a small pet could get out. It was always so loud at all hours of the night and there wasn’t anything done about that either. All around a horrible experience and we didn’t even stay to finish out the year lease which we did continue to pay until it was up. I could keep going on and on. Just don’t waste your time here.

Not as good as it was

A new management company took over about 4 months ago. They got rid of everyone that was working here before, even the lawn company and those that were keeping the grounds clean. Everything has gone downhill since they took over. The exterior lights do not all work. Residents were told by the front office they were turning some off to save on the power bill. This results in some very dark areas. The grounds are kept cut but trash is everywhere. They boast about valet trash service, but ...
it is very sporadic. The dumpster is overflowing several times a week so people just throw their trash outside the dumpster. Have a noise complaint? They say to call the police, even give out the non emergency number. Have problems after hours? It now goes to an answering service, who are not helpful and very rude. Each time you call, you are transferred to several different people and have to tell them the problem over and over. Only to be told that they will give a message to the office the next business day. The office says they never receive the problem. For the amount of money spent to live here, much better service is expected. I recommend you save your money and go somewhere different.
