Was slated the move here and on the day of the move, our unit was infested with roaches!! The dishwasher was disgusting and had broken glass inside. Needless to say we didn't move in and had to spend lots of money on a hotel and a new apartment. I didn't want to select any stars but I was forced.

Prairie Estates have been a wonderful place to call home for the last year and a half. The office manager is wonderful at making sure that the tenants can count on her. She makes sure the maintenance crew is always doing a great job and being efficient. I am comfortable living here and enjoy the safe environment for my children.

The apartments are relatively nice. However, there are amenities advertised to draw in new tenants, that are not available once you move in. They advertise a gated community, a fitness ctr & swimming pool, however, the gate has never worked since i've been here, the fitness ctr is only aval for use during office hrs, 8am-5:30pm, pool has only been open 6 days out of the almost 2 yrs I have lived here. Only method of rent payment is money order, so you have to drive around to purchase MO every ...

month. If you are out of town on the 3rd when rent is due, you have no way of paying rent, then you are charged a late fee. Can't pay rent online or by check or credit/debit card. Very inconvenient. Maintenance is mediocre. If you submit work orders they retailiate with bogus damages that they charge you for but can't prove.
