Fabulous Complex
November 14, 2025Prairie Winds is a wonderful place to live. It is clean, cleverly designed, well-maintained, and very pleasant. The office staff is knowledgeable, professional, and very kind and understanding. The maintenance staff is top-notch, going out of their way to make residents happy. I love Prairie Winds!
September 17, 2023I downsized from a large family home to a 2 bedroom apartment here at Prairie winds. From the first time I walked into the office I knew this was the place for me. The office staff did not disappoint, were professional and personable. They have been great ever since. My Apartment is like a house. The upgrades are beautiful and I have not heard a neighbor ever since being here. I feel like I am living in a luxury hotel every day. The maintenance staff is like no other. They are professional ...and personable and get the job done. I have been here 3 months and know I am not leaving here anytime soon. Prairie winds is home and with the amenities is well worth the rent I pay. The staff goes above and beyond to have events that help you lmeet your neighbors. All my neighbors are nice and the grounds are beautiful. I cant say enough nice things about Prairie winds!Property Manager Responded

Not Just An Apartment
September 16, 2023To call Prairie Wnds an "Apartment Complex" is simply a large understatement! It is a community where people of all ages and life stages blend together to form new friendships and life long relationships. We are almost 5 year residents, and this is where we're staying. Besides the great amenities, location, and beautiful apartments, we've become a non-related family. We help each other out and step in where needed, all with people we've never met before our residence here, but it is unique and ...comforting to know. September 15, 2023We moved into Prairie Winds 3 months ago. It is safe, newer (about 5 years old), beautiful landscape and upkeep, awesome amenities, friendly neighbors and staff, and our unit is spacious with everything we need. Amy and Emily, the Assistant Community Managers, listen and are responsive. Both times that I had minor maintenance issues, they came out the same day for repairs! Location is perfect, with the highly rated District 303 school system, and you can literally walk to Geneva Commons.Property Manager Responded

It is so beautiful here!
September 13, 2023I am really enjoying my time here at PW. Walking the lovely paths and meeting up with friends at the grill and relaxing at the pool are my favorite things to do! I have really enjoyed not having to shovel, mow and keep up with maintenance! Staff here are fun to talk to and Peanut loves to visit the office for some attention! Our home away from home
May 30, 2023My wife and I moved to Prairie Winds following a fire at our home. We had very low expectations of any temporary housing but were thrilled when our relocation consultant found us this property. We have had only 100% positive interactions with everyone in the management office. A few minor items needing maintenance intervention popped up, but the response was swift, fixed the first time with a smile and always handled professionally. The amenities are something that are very much growing on us. ...The exercise facility rivals what I paid for at a local health club, indoor & outdoor pools, full locker room and a secure mailing center that beats receiving package deliveries at our home's doorstep. The people here are friendly and respectful. There's a number of people who have dogs, but the owners do an excellent job of cleaning up after and training their dog to interact well with others. GREAT place to live
September 8, 2021My wife and I stayed at Prairie Winds for 6 months while we were in-between homes. We really enjoyed the time there. Other residents are friendly, the weight room/gym is fantastic (never more than 5-6 people there at any one time), and a great pool. The whole community seems very safe - we walked our dog a lot and never felt like it was dark - because it's so well-lit. The staff is super helpful. They are very responsive to every request. February 3, 2021We have lived at Prairie Winds for almost a year and it has been awesome! Everyone on the team is so pleasant and friendly and always willing to help. Our dog loves the dog park and all of the walking paths and we love the gym, the pool, and being so close to the Commons and Downtown St. Charles/Geneva. You truly can’t find a complex with the amenities like Prairie Winds anywhere! No Comparison in the Tri-City Area
March 10, 2020I have lived in Prarie Winds since we moved from Puerto Rico to Illinois almost two years ago and I got to said it has been the best decision that we made. We lived in a two bedroom for six months and then we upgraded to a three bedroom unit and we love both. Beginning with the luxuries details in all the units, the BBQ area, Indoor Pool, Hot Tub, Club House, the Gym (love it ) and my favorite during spring and summer our Resort style Pool were we get together with our wonderful neighbors and ...have days of fun that will last forever in our hearts.
