Great apartment for an affordable price
August 12, 2018PH Apartments is one of the most well balanced apartments downtown Madison has to offer. It is located in a fantastic area of the city--it's walking distance from the lake, two Walgreens, a grocery store, many great libraries and study spots, the Kohl Center, and it's right on State St. The apartments themselves are surprisingly spacious and in good condition (the building itself is still fairly new, about 10 years old) for what the prices are. The maintenance workers often responded the day of ...submitting a request, and the office staff was very helpful and understanding. They also have a community dinner every month with free food, afternoon tea with snacks every month, and offer scholarship programs to those interested for up to $100 off your rent a month. I can only think of two downsides. One is that they only have a small parking area behind the building with one 15 minute parking spot, so owning a car while living there is a challenge, although they do give the opportunity to buy a parking spot at the Fluno Center parking lot, the other is just that for me personally, as an engineering student it was a little far away from my classes, but for the majority of majors it is in a perfect spot.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
