Amenities Can’t Fix Bad Management

One thing I genuinely don’t understand is why lease violations seem to be sent out almost every Friday around 5 PM. By the time residents receive them and have questions or concerns, the office is either closing or already closed for the weekend. It creates a situation where residents are left stressed, confused, and unable to get answers until the following week.
What makes it even more frustrating is that when residents do try to get clarification, it often falls on the Leasing Manager, who ...
has consistently been the most helpful, professional, and responsive person in the office. She deserves recognition for how much she does, because she should not be left cleaning up situations that could have been handled through better communication from leadership.
Unfortunately, the lack of communication from Candice, the Property Manager, and Michael, the Assistant Property Manager, has made multiple situations far more frustrating than they needed to be. Residents should not feel like they are chasing answers after receiving notices that can impact their housing.
The property itself has many great qualities, but professionalism, communication, and accountability matter just as much as amenities. A resident should never feel like getting a straight answer is harder than receiving the violation itself.
