living here has been one issue after another, and the way management has handled these problems has been extremely disappointing.
It started with someone breaking into the “secured” garage and stealing our bikes. Then our smoke detector went off in the middle of the night, and the only way to stop it was to remove it from the ceiling…only for water to come pouring out. The solution? Then water started coming out around our router, which had been taped to the ceiling for over a month. With all of these ongoing moisture and condensation issues, we eventually started experiencing bugs throughout the apartment that would fall from the vents. On our bed and my desk.
management makes these issues seem isolated to our apartment, but after talking to neighbors, we’ve learned that many others are experiencing THE SAME ISSUES.
We’ve also asked about rent compensation for the ongoing issues and still have not received a response.
Oh and because of the moisture issue, management placed a dehumidifier directly in the middle of our bathroom, which has been extremely inconvenient to live around.
There are ongoing concerns, and the community app is heavily restricted when it comes to what residents can post. It feels like there is an effort to limit residents from openly discussing problems with the building and realizing how widespread some of these issues actually are.
