The neighborhood is safe, calm, and well-maintained, making it comfortable to live in long term. One of the biggest advantages is how well-connected it is—this location falls under all major JHU shuttle routes, including late-night rides, which is a huge plus for students and employees who work late or prefer not to drive. Commuting to JHU and nearby areas is extremely convenient, whether ...you’re using the shuttle, public transport, or walking. Mount Vernon itself is a lively and charming area with easy access to grocery stores, cafés, restaurants, and cultural spots, so daily errands and social life are effortless. January 23, 2026I've been living in this apartment for a while now, and overall, my experience has been positive. The location is fantastic, with easy access to everything I need. The amenities provided are impressive and truly enhance my living experience. While there haven't been any major issues, I do wish the gym had more equipment to offer a broader range of workout options. October 4, 2025I lived here for two years back when it was still Sutton Place. Since the management company changed, this has become one of the best apartments near MICA. The building has a large swimming pool and a brand-new gym, and the staff are very friendly, especially toward MICA students. Mr. Larry deserves special praise — he’s one of the kindest people I’ve met. My mom, who doesn’t speak English, once got stuck in the elevator, and Larry still understood her and helped her out right away. He also ...notices when residents haven’t picked up their packages in a while, and sometimes even delivers them straight to your door.Property Manager Responded
