ReNew Riverwalk Apartments

3:05am due to bass being blasted. Still going 30 minutes later, no sign of stopping. Also: frequent problems with teenagers loitering in the stairwell directly outside our apartment, cigarette smoke coming under our door AND through the vents in our bathroom so that our bedroom is so saturated it makes me nauseous, multiple piles of dog waste directly outside the building door due to neighbors who stand in the doorway and let their dog eliminate right outside because it’s too cold, and hall entryway is run down and drab (peeling olive paint, flickering lights, holes in the wall). But wait, there’s more. Have heard screaming that sounded like domestic violence, have been harassed by small children (one of them threw a ball at me the day after we moved in), and (filthy) laundry room constantly has clothes abandoned for hours in the dryers. Complex is adjacent to a dealership so you hear car alarms beeping every 20 seconds, and the Nabisco factory where every few days they make some horrifying savory product that produces a sickening smell for hours. I’m too embarrassed to host friends here as they must walk through the ever-present clouds of marijuana to enter. If you have children, this is not an appropriate place for them. The rent is ludicrous (and electric bills are over 200/month). We are counting down the days until we move.
