I've been here since 2019, so close to it's opening and I couldn't recommend it any more or even want to rent somewhere else. Place is super friendly for you, family and your animals. Place is also very clean as they have people daily going around the apartments cleaning up any trash. Patricia and Jazmin are also very helpful and are there to answer any needs/concerns, and they've made it super easy and a non worry being a renter here. I could not recommend highly enough, especially for military! Close to Vandenberg SFB (15-20 mins), located near shopping centers, with a nice selection of floor plans, in-unit laundry (what a boon!) and the convenience of a garage (most places don’t have garage parking), Refugio was everything I needed to feel safe and comfortable. In addition, the customer service was excellent. Patricia was super helpful throughout the application and leasing process, and always made herself readily available ...
to answer any questions I had. She was incredibly kind, polite, and professional, as was the rest of the staff I interacted with. Jasmine handled any maintenance requests very quickly, which was much appreciated! They were also very aware of the PCS process, which took a huge load of stress off once I received orders. Super military friendly! Patricia was extremely helpful and friendly in the application and leasing process. She made us feel right at home. She was also super accommodating in helping us break our lease because of an upcoming PCS. Jazmin is very responsive and helpful for maintenance requests. The attached garage is rare for apartment rentals in this area and the security is worth it. Plenty of space. Quiet neighborhood, and the residents are friendly. Maria, but not close enough for traffic to be annoying. Roughly 15-20 minutes from Vandenberg SFB. I highly recommend living here, especially if you're military looking for off-base housing!

The location is centralized for everything your heart desires, fast food, grocery stores, mall just up the road, and plenty of things to do from parks and events in the community. The owners are absolutely amazing and transparent about their facilities. Never had an issue with neighbors, owners, pets, or kids. If you are a family of five or a man and his dog this place would suit perfectly for all.
