April 27, 2026Was very excited to lease at this apartment and when there was an issue with my application I got absolutely no response from Dejah who made it seem like she was very helpful but wasn’t. I reached out to someone else and never got a response either. Haven’t gotten a response from anyone about this till this day (been weeks) but keep getting prompted to review this place. If they completely ignore and disregard prospects, how do they treat their tenants?Review from Apartments.com
3 years of headaches, avoid at all costs!
April 24, 2025We lived at Regents Club of Troy for 3 years because of work, and it was one issue after another. We experienced two major floods—one in December 2022 under previous management (who at least helped by covering our renter’s insurance deductible), and another in January 2025 with the current management. The second time, we received no support and had to fight for days just to get reimbursed for the time our apartment was uninhabitable. During another trip, a bird got into our apartment, left ...droppings everywhere, and died inside. Management gave us no help cleaning up the mess or removing the bird—we had to deal with the entire situation ourselves. Maintenance requests take an unreasonable amount of time to be addressed, and communication is poor. The one exception is the maintenance technician, who consistently showed up, was respectful, and went above and beyond. He was the only staff member we felt truly cared. The current management constantly blames everything on the previous company, instead of taking responsibility and fixing ongoing issues. August 22, 2019I relocated from out of state and was driving by looking for an apartment home close to my work in the Troy, MI area. I stumbled in on Regents Club of Troy, off the beaten path yet close to everything I need, for work and personal. I met Dave in the office and he and another young man, Adam were very helpful. They showed me around and gave me a great tour of the community. I was sold with the amenities, the grounds and even talked to a couple residents who currently live there. I won't live anywhere else!
February 26, 2018I moved here in the end of October and was pleasantly surprise by the Regents Club of Troy. I had no idea that this gem was tucked away so close to everything I need! A stone's throw from Somerset Mall, 10 mins max drive to downtown Birmingham, and easy access to the freeway! I moved here with my dog and we were welcomed here with open arms! It immediately felt like home. I love being able to take him on walks around the community. He just loves all of the outdoor space. Also, I can take a quick ...walk to the clubhouse and use the amenities provided there such as: the fitness center, clubhouse space for private events, indoor AND outdoor pool! Fun! I love being able to call this place home! If I ever move out of this apartment, I will only consider City Club Apartments from now on- the staff is great! January 29, 2018I have lived at Regents Club for almost a year and I really enjoy it here. Apartments are in a great location with little to no noise from Big Beaver. The grounds look wonderful, amenities are nice, the management and maintenance staff is always very polite and always so helpful!! I have met some of the residents here at the wonderful gatherings the complex puts on, and for the most part everyone is very nice but some of the residents are no. They definitely leave you with the feeling that money ...can not buy you common sense or compassion. Since I've lived here the hot tub has always been operational, no eye issues and none of my swim suits have been ruined, although I do not stay in for long as it's not difficult to comprehend why swimwear should be washed in cool water....cause hot water can be damaging!! My building is very quiet and there is definitely no science fiction frequency waves surging through my apartment endangering my health and well being... otherwise I wouldn't be living here. I myself inquired about the gates at the front and was told the wiring had been damaged and they were just waiting for the ground to thaw a little so they could dig and do repairs, which have been completed. Troy is also 2nd in the state for cities with the least amount of crime. This is a great complex with a hard working staff, located in a nice area. The schools are outstanding, shopping within walking distance and so many restaurants to choose from. August 6, 2015The layout of the kitchen is excellent; however, much more needs to be desired in taste. For the amount of money that is to be paid in rent, I expect Grante counters, cherry oak cabinets, glass tile back splash, wood or tiled floors. Needs to have eye catching bazzaz. The exterior is beautiful, I could see myself entertaining my friends and family during the summer months sitting outside during the night, sipping wine, and waveing hello to my neighbors.
