Beautiful but not worth the stress
February 22, 2022The location is ideal and the view from the apartment is beautiful. However if you have any issues, don't count on management to fix them. Property manager Erika is unresponsive and unprofessional. There are tenants who know this and take advantage, such as playing loud music late into the night, dogs barking all night long, and stealing delivery packages. There are also Airbnb properties on location where illicit activities take place regularly. Beautiful Setting, Excellent Building
July 22, 2020As I type this I am looking out my window at the Erie Canal and Gateway Harbor. I am looking at boats, kayaks, families having picnics and kids jumping in for a swim under the railroad bridge like a scene out of a Norman Rockwell painting. I have lived at Remington for just over a year and consider it one of the best decisions made since I moved here from LA. My rent is all-inclusive, meaning I don't have any utility bills, not even cable! People appear impressed that I live here, yet the rent ...is about the same as a studio in Koreatown, LA. The appliances are GE Cafe series. My chef husband loves experimenting with new dishes using them. Very dog friendly. An eclectic group of tenants that are all friendly and respectful. Great apartments, ok management
June 29, 2019Have been living here for several months and LOVE our apartment. The maintenance and management leave a bit to be desired but the building has a new owner and my hope is that things will improve. The apartments are spacious, have high ceilings, and well appointed kitchens. Definitely a great “empty nester” first apartment. Great, convenient neighborhood as well. Loft living
August 17, 2015This is a great building if you're looking to be in the center of all the fun! With an amazing restaurant attached to the building and others all within less than a 5 minute walk, you are in the heart of it all. The canal is located directly across the street with great views from all around the apartment. The rooftop is a great spot to watch the local bands or summertime fireworks. The building is very safe and secured with 2 locked doors at the entryways. Pet friendly and great for ...families too. It is luxury living without the high cost. These lofts are modern and beautiful, they fit right into the new popular trend of loft living. Being a single mom to 2, I always feel safe and secured. My kids have friends to play with in the building and love playing by the water outside watching all the boats pass by.
