Nestled in the country, yet only four blocks away from the most trafficked shopping center in Santa Rosa, due to Costco and Trader Joe’s are the Renaissance Apartments. There is a complex on Kawana Springs Road, and the street I live on, Kawana Terrace across the street.
These Southwestern style apartments are painted a warm terracotta color, giving you a feeling of calm.
About a quarter mile up the street is one of the entrances to Taylor Mountain Trails, for all that like to hike, or ride
...horses. Because of these mountains you will see deer wandering around the north side of my complex, from time to time.
I live on the third floor. That means four flights of stairs up. A daily workout that I cannot back out of.
From my living room that faces south, I can see Rohnert Park and Petaluma lights at night.
During the day I see mountains, cows, and country homes scattered spatially apart.
There is a French door in my living room that leads to a deck. On the other side of the deck is another French door off of the master bedroom.
My two bedroom apartment is not very large, but works for my daughter and I. For a large crowd we can always rent the recreation room for a fee. This includes an entertainment room, pool table, gym and pool.
The washer and dryer in each unit is a plus.
Dogs and Cat are included for a fee. Most people here have animals, and all of them seem to be on board with being quiet at night, because I have never been woken up by a bark or meowing cat. Unless it was mine.
When anything breaks down or I have any concern in my apartment, management is excellent. They go out of their way to help as quickly as possible. Renaissance has two very capable maintenance workers that live in our complex.
I can order items online to the office, and know that I can rely on our management office to let me know when a package arrives by email or by phone.
My favorite thing about this complex is that I feel safe. All my windows face south accept one so, if anyone thought about breaking in they would need a latter. This would not happen because the south side of my apartment faces the parking lot. The other window off the dining area has a walkway about five feet away, with a three story drop in between.
Quiet country living, but only minutes away from downtown.
