Awesome Place to Call Home!
January 18, 2023We have been here for a little over a year and I can’t begin to explain how happy we are! Apartments are upgraded, landscaping is well maintained, and pool is exquisite! Maintenance staff, led by Jim is on top of everything. With all that being said, The Office staff is like family. The manager, Valerie is so nice and great to work with. Most of all the 3 Musketeers (lol) Raven, Lindsey, and Tristan are the nicest most hardworking people you could ever meet!!! Needless to say I will be renewing ...my lease!!! changed my locks early
January 6, 2023I had until the end of the day on Dec. 21 to have access to my apt. I was out on the 20th, good thing. I went to finish cleaning and take pictures to protect myself from wrong. As I said, needed in to finish cleaning, take pics and leave keys, unfortunately I could not access the apartment as my locks were changed a day early. If you choose to rent here, do not trust the ladies, in the office, with your back turned. As long as you are facing them, they will smile in your face, if they even smile ...but I would back out of the office when leaving. The property has gone downhill in the 3 years I was there. There has not been a single improvement in that timeframe. There is so much rotten wood covered with new paint. New paint on stairs even though they are crumbling. There is dog crap everywhere and not to mention the 2 shootings. The front gates rarely close. But if you like it, enjoy!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Family friendly/pet friendly... Wonderful place to live!
December 20, 2022I moved here with my family 2 years ago, this month. We have been very happy here at Harper's Point! The office staff are such a fabulous group of people, and they make everyone feel so welcome. I've never lived anywhere this pet friendly, it really warms my heart. Anyone who loves their pets knows that they ARE our family too... So, the amount of love and generosity given to our fur babies means a lot to me. Not to mention the treats and the gifts that they have for them in the office! Jim and ...his maintenance crew are top notch and go above and beyond to make sure things are taken care of efficiently in and around the complex. I'm pretty sure my dog wants to join Jim and the crew. Lol When I'm walking around, I feel safe here. To me, that's a big deal. Absolutely Fantastic
December 16, 2022I have lived here for 1 year and my dog and I feel at home. It’s a family oriented place and it’s very safe! Beautiful landscaping and the pool is awesome!!!! Best Apartments I’ve Ever Lived At
October 24, 2022I stayed at Harper’s Point for a little over a year and I can easily say it’s the best apartment complex I’ve ever lived at! The grounds are kept clean and I always feel safe walking around the complex. The maintenance and front office staff are always so friendly and helpful, and I love the events they put on! From shaved ice in the summers to their 12 days of giveaways in the winter, it always made it feel like I was a part of a little community! You also can’t beat the location, the apartments ...are so close to everything you could possibly need. My 1 bedroom apartment had nice vinyl floors, up-to-date counters and lighting, and huge windows. The screened in porch was lovely to sit out and enjoy the outdoors without having to worry about bugs. Wonderful but old
December 21, 2021I moved here right out of college and have no regrets. When my family visited, they all said “I wish my first apartment was this nice.” My roommate and I love the property and the staff. My only complaint is that the buildings are very old and some things need to be replaced (the windows). But the maintenance crew is very helpful and are at my door with in a couple hours of my call. March 3, 20211st interaction with a pleasant leasing Agent went well: pet policy 2dogs, no aggressive breds, leash required, non-smoking community, gated. 2d interaction w/Mgt, didn't get a good vibe from her at all. Asked about review where resident complained thst her payments was misapplied 4x and Mgr tried to make it sound like it was the tenant's fault, yet her assistant mgr was fired (theft of funds according to other residents & they confirmed it happened to them too. I did a walk through of community ...& meet people who currently live there)and the Mgr didnt accept any responsibility. They don't have online bill pay, instead you're supposed to give them your bank acct info and they manually pull rent from your bank account. Found out dependent on circumstances can 3dogs or more, german shepherds, and noticed people were walking multiple dogs off leash. In front of the clubhouse is a hotel that you can just walk across parking lot to get to & their transient patrons have easy access to the property since it is not fenced in and only has a gate on road but the rest of the community is wide open to anyone who to walks onto property..because it is Not enclosed. Also, the hotel people mistake property entrance versus hotel entrance, per current residents. These apartments are Old and on the third floor they allow residents to bring in wood and burn in wood burning fireplace & store wood on patio. Wow...are they crazy...someone could burn the place down,not to mention termites, and old fireplaces usually have leakage issues for the people under you. I also mentioned, that I noticed that their is Not a single photo or virtual tour of a 1 bedroom, and was told that they could email pics, that I never received. The more questions I asked, they continued to deflect (I felt like they weren't being completely truthful. The final straw is ehen I asked about employees that live on site, but don't abide that this community is smoke free. I was feed another excuse, but I think this review and the other two are true! One site , stated couldnt trust reviews for this property because they had to many fake one. Too many Red Flag, If manager lips are moving then they probably lying.
