I’ve lived here for two years and in the beginning I thought it was a great place to live, but over the last two years I’ve been disappointed month after month. Maintenance request takes weeks to get fulfilled, the office is now only open for a 2-4 hours Mon-Friday ONLY, and the lack of professionalism is sad for a leasing office. The apts need to be gutted out completely, as the floors are sunken in, the walls are paper thin, the bugs are ridiculous (I recently found one crawling out of a plug ...
outlet) and the smells in these apts have only gotten worst after the first year. I only stayed two years because I have a kid and couldn’t find a new place before school started. But now I don’t really care, I’ve had enough and I want out!!

Very Disappointing

The property maintenance has significantly deteriorated during my two-year residency here. My concern is the consistent lack of professionalism and responsiveness from certain staff members. The general demeanor and apparent lack of concern of basic acknowledgment when encountering resident contribute to an unwelcoming and supportive environment.
I have had several critical maintenance issues that have been repeatedly reported without resolution causing considerable inconvenience. For three ...
weeks I have initiated service request after service concerning continuously running toilet and lack of hot water in my shower. I have to shower in lukewarm warm, and it's very quick. Despite my attempt of submitting service request and 3 or more weeks later and nothing has been resolved.
Maintenance did come out and brought a replace fill valve that too big for the toilet. Now the toilet is running water faster than a speeding car. I have to turn the water on and off every time I need to use the bathroom, and this is so inconvenience. My toilet top has to sit on the floor now. The assistance manager shows no concerns. Because I have friends that are Managers at other Big Apartments, I have to asked one of their maintenance supervisors to come look at why I am unable to get hot water to my shower, since Retreat maintenance is not knowledgeable to fit the problem. It's to cold to continue to bathe in cold water.

Teresa is incredible, but the rest of the staff are not enjoyable or prompt with anything they do. My apartment has had black mold and they refuse to do anything but paint over it. My furniture and clothing are ruined with the smell of cigarettes. The fitness center hasn't been opened since I've moved here. My mailbox wasn't available for the first two months of me living here. I don't think I could ever sign a lease here again. Find elsewhere. This is not worth the money or even close.

I have been living here two years. Nice community. It's quite and I have always felt safe. This complex sits back off the main highway with a lot of trees surrounding the buildings. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If anything needs to be fixed they are there very quickly. I give this complex 5 stars.
Quiet and cozy

I was hesitant to move into an apartment because I've always lived in houses. But I have been pleasantly surprised with our experience here. I live with my husband and 2 kids and our dog, yes they allow pets. There is plenty of room for all of us. It's recently renovated with brand new appliance, and big pool and fitness center and the neighbors are all polite. I'm glad we moved here

Brandywine is a great place to live. I've lived here for 2 years, however, I am moving because my family is expanding :) They have great amenities and the people that work here basically become family. There are currently 3 courtesy officers so you know that you will be safe.
