Great apartments

Stay Very Far Away
December 27, 2021The rudest and most unfriendly office staff I have ever encountered in my 35+ years of living in apartments. Outdated appliances that are safety hazards, and good luck getting anyone to come to your apartment for maintenance repairs! Happy Resident
July 14, 2021I have been at River Road Apartments for the past 2 years and I am extremely pleased in every way imaginable from the friendly office staff to the nice maintenance team. The amenities are pretty amazing as well from the exercise room with the beautiful views to the large swimming pool. The property is kept nice and clean and the staff is genuinely concerned and they address all my concerns in a timely manner. Terrible customer service and old appliances
August 11, 2020Due to COVID-19 and taking care of my daughter I asked River Road apartments please allow me to make my payment on the beginning of the business day six. the payment was dated the sixth due to the fact that all the stores close early and I cannot get certified monies at that time they proceeded to ignore my pleas and further their agenda even though COVID-19 has close the stores this is terrible customer service.Property Manager Responded

Unhelpful Office Staff
May 24, 2018I am a current resident (9 months), and I recently got married and wanted to add my wife to my lease so she can forward mail, update her information, etc. We paid $20 for a background check to be run, and she was listed as an "Occupant" and allowed to stay on the property. When I asked for verification of her living in my apartment, I was told that because she is just an "Occupant," they will not provide any written documentation of her living there. The only thing I can do is personally hand ...write her name onto the "Occupant" section on a copy of my lease because they will not even do that. The only way I can get any proof of her living in my apartment is to sign us up for a brand new lease. We are out $20 and looking for a new apartment when my lease ends.Property Manager Responded

Horrible place to live
January 6, 2018If you need to sleep and rest at night this is not the place. The heater system is very old and made a lot of noise. In fact the one from my downstair neighbor make a very strong vibration in my floor that did not let us sleep. The people at the office and maintenance don't care about it, because we reported this issue two months ago and still nothing happen. They do not have empathy or intension to provide a proper service for the money that I pay monthly. Honest Review from a Two Year Tenant -Part 1
July 11, 2017Having read several reviews at I suspect aren't 100% depictions of the complex and are most likely bought review, I'd thought as a two year tenant I would weigh in on River Road Apartments and give a fair and honest review and depiction of living here. First lets address the elephant in the room that most of the negative reviews entails, the maintenance. Having lived here two years, I can say there have been numerous issues that existed well before I moved in and made mention to the front ...office. The honest truth is, maintenance here is terrible, in fact it might be the worst out of any apartment complex that I have ever lived. I have had faucet issues on both the kitchen sink and the bathroom sink from the very beginning and have requested maintenance to come several times to fix it. Sometimes they come and state they need extra tools and never come back, others I call in the front office and one of the staff states she will give it to the maintenance staff but never does and when I confront the front office about it, it seems that person was “let go”, which I know to be false since I see her every time I drop off rent. Worst recently is the situation with the roof. I have informed the front office of the roof leaking and water marks starting to appear for the past few month and advised that they need to patch or re-shingle the roof, these obviously has gone unanswered. the worst apartment complex I have ever lived!!!
February 27, 2017River Road Apertment is the worst apartment complex I have ever lived. Poor maintenance. When you have maintenance problem, You have to go ask them to fix it a few times so you can get your maintenance work done. Our apartment's A.C and Heating units are very old and they don't function properly. Maintenance guys came to fix it a few times but we had same problem over and over again. Our kitchen cabinets are very old. We asked them to upgrade, They said they don't upgrade if we are currently ...resident on the apartments. Thanks to them after many attempts they replaced our dishwasher. Poor staff. Some staff members are extremely rude. They don’t treat you that you are their customer. They treat you like they are boss and you have to obey their rules.They don’t care your opinion. Do not ask them to do favor. You will not get what you hoped for. Worst of all, they sent us letter that we are being falsely accused that someone unreported on our contract is living with us. When I went to office to make correction, They seemed that they did not believe me and I am lying, although I told them the one they claimed lives across the door(apartment). They said they are going to investigate and reach final decision. I told them I was expecting apology letter for their false accusation, after they make sure the person is not staying in our apartment, very rude lady told me that they will not send us apology letter. I told them if they do not send me an apology letter, I will publish the letter online so everyone will be able to see how management company accuses their resident without proof.( I still waiting for Apology Letter)Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Nice price but pray you don't need maintenance
June 14, 2016I've lived here for more than six months and there are still maintenance issues that have not been addressed. Faucets not working correctly, stove burners not getting hot among other issues. Anytime maintenance comes by, they say they need more tools and then don't come back. Location outstanding always room for improvement!
December 17, 2015I am a five year resident and I was very happy when I first arrived at River Road in 2010. Then I read the reviews about the complex after I moved in and I was very upset. Now as far as location it is bar none outstanding for the price. River Ridge, across the street starts at $800.00 for a one bedroom. However, the mindset of the residence is another matter. I do not understand why people don't take care of what they work for and why they leave garbage on their patios and balconies for days ...sometimes weeks at a time. Why yards look like the city dumb? In this day and age of technology please use your phones for something other than posting to Face Book. Use them to bring about the changes that need to happen. I am not a believer in paying for crab. I work to long and hard to be unhappy with anything I work to pay for. For a very long time I was not happy to live at River Road it’s a work in progress. Again for the neighborhood you won't find a more affordable price, there is a drawback the units are small, the appliances are outdated, the décor is from the late 90's, the pool is small, the workout room is small. Anytime you have people you will have problems. However when people pay their rent they feel they can do whatever they want to enjoy their living experience even if it infringes on your right to enjoy yours.
