Costly, move out fees, could be cleaner
June 7, 2020You will be charged minimum $500 on moveout (Wonder why the deposit is $500 HMMM), more if you stay longer for 'paint replacement lifespan'. Very pricey, hope you work at Oracle. Maintenance is pretty slow to respond, not the worst. Pool was good while it was open. Trash chutes would get stuck at least once a week. Check the seals on your door, I had a roach walk in from outside right under it. Paying for the parking structure was convenient. If you come back from work after 5PM it is likely you ...will not have one of the 'free' ground parking spots. There are 20 for the entire complex.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
No security and rude staff
January 30, 2020My wife and I are current residents of River Terrace and we are very unhappy with our experience here. We had a 1 bedroom apartment on the first floor which was burglarized when we were on vacation. The patio doors are very feeble and apparently very easy to break in to. For 3-4 days it wasn't even noticed that the apartment was broken in to and robbed! We only found out about it when our friend went over to check in on the apartment. The patios on first floor apartments are very easy to enter. ...There is no fob restricted access what so ever. We would strongly advise against getting an apartment on the first floor here. For a building advertised as a gated community, there is no security what so ever. They did let us move to an apartment on the second floor. But, when they sent us the move out bill for first apartment, we saw some extremely absurd charges. We were in the apartment for only 5 months and they charged us an exorbitant amount for carpet cleaning and paint even though there were no damages. This has been a very unpleasant and an unhappy experience for us and we can't wait to move out of here.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Disappointing maintenance
October 30, 2019Maintenance request can take a week to be completed. Things get stolen. And management will not be helping you for any loss occured. My bicycle got stolen on long weekend. Feel of Security and safety is lagging. Onsite Management people are not helpful. In case you are having trouble with any appliances at home, your maintenance request fulfilling time will make you feel the roadside apartment instead of luxury one.Review from Apartments.com
WORST COMMUNITY EVER!!!!
October 24, 2019Dont fall for move in specials or reduced rent - this community will rip you off at moveout. There are many better options near by - dont fall into their trap! They charge you for anything and everything - parking, locker service etc. The keyless entry / smart assist is not useful and on the contrary is a pain. Very small car parking space - 4th floor parking is literally outside in the sun - yet you get charged 50-75$. Poorly Managed and will charge you beyond measure at move out
September 17, 2019Rented an apartment from here for 9 months. Was dirty when we moved in, we were shown a newly renovated apartment to allure us in and were stuck with one that was nowhere near as nice. We were charged an arm and a leg at move out. So over priced for what you get
April 21, 2019This apartment complex is very average. When we moved in it was really dirty. when we pay as much as we do for a tiny apartment it should be clean. This apartment complex requires you to pay for a parking spot even if you don’t have a car. It’s a huge rip off. They get you for everything so factor in an extra $200 onto rent for extra stuff they will add on if you live here. The office staff has changed also. When e first moved in they were very nice but now they are pretty rude and forget that ...you are the customer.Property Manager Responded
