Poor condition/ roaches
September 2, 2015I have lived here for 6 years 1 month. Originally in a 3 bedroom 2 bath with my daughter and her children. I moved to a 1 bedroom on 12/1/2011. The paint and sheet rock were coming of the wall behind the toilet when I moved in and it was never repaired , granted the managers have changed. For the past 3 months or so I have complained of roaches in my kitchen and now they are everywhere. They changed exterminating companies and this one has come every week for 8-9 weeks straight. He puts out gel ...and the bugs are worse than ever. I leave my sliding door open so my dog can go out on the patio. The manager said I have roaches because I leave the door open. When I signed my last lease I wanted the carpet changed because it was very old and cleaning it didn't help. They said that they would replace it with linoleum. I agreed, but the linoleum was so thin and cheap my sofa and bed tore it and I paid someone to come in and repair because the manager did nothing when I told her.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Rochelle Plaza (NOT Place)
July 21, 2015Having lived here twice in the last three years, I can attest to this complex from two perspectives. The apartments are older and and about mid-range quality as far as Irving apartments go. For the price range, however, they are likely the best value for your money. The floors are nice woof-looking linoleum, but are as hard as cement, the pool is well-tended, there are charcoal grills, a sports court, a sand volleyball court and a nice playground ground for kids. It seems to feel safer now than ...it did three years ago, and if you spray for and get traps for the roaches, they will become less invasive (I'm willing to bet their are roaches in every apt complex at this price). The best thing about these apts are the friendly and prompt staff and the fact that you can walk around the charming Rochelle Park. Definitely look at these if you want to save money and live in a decent area of Irving.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
