Loved it so much that I came back
May 2, 2024I was a prior resident here and I absolutely loved it! Our unit had a remodeled kitchen with brand new appliances which was very nice! The bedrooms are very spacious and the walk in closets were a nice perk. Overall, the grounds were well kept and the amenities' were also very clean. I love that they have washer/dryer hook-ups in every apartment too! I have lived at other complexes in the area and they have not matched Runaway Bay. I am super excited to be moving back into a new unit here. ...Brittani is super helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Great place for a family
June 8, 2023The people at Runaway Bay have been extremely friendly and helpful to me and my family. On the date of move in, when I reached the office after hours because my car had broken down, Brittani stayed back, welcomed me, and very patiently and kindly walked me through the apartment and the terms of the lease. In the two years that we have lived here, I have never had to worry about anything - from mail and packages arriving while we were away, to rare maintenance issues that were always addressed ...quickly. They even moved my car when the carports were being painted while we were away on vacation, to avoid getting paint on the car. Due to various personal reasons, we have to move a long way away, and are sorry to move out of this community. Even now, the team continues to be helpful, taking our stress off by providing a handy pre-move-out to-do list, and making sure we do not stress over minor things about the apartment condition. college ready everyone else run away
September 5, 2019I have lived here for years and I have noticed that they finally are putting money into repairs while raising rates, They been filling the open apartments with college kids not caring about neighbors. Noise complaints and breaking into cars get you no where other then excuses from management. I loved it when i told management that my car was broken into to be told i should take better care of locking my car. The pregnant one excuses noise complaints as normal. August 11, 2019I have lived here for over 2 yrs. The staff including office and maintenance are very pleasant professional and good at the job. The views are beautiful with the wildlife around the ponds relaxing and enjoyable. The location is great because you get country surroundings yet close to city conveniences. Great Pet Friendly Community
September 6, 2015I've lived at Runaway Bay for two years and have met some truly great people. Having a dog allows me to mingle with lots of residents and most are hard working, genuine people. Runaway Bay is located near everything you could want in a town while still capturing the feeling of being off the beaten path. The staff are friendly and the apartment layouts make you forget you are living in an apartment and make you feel like you own a home. August 14, 2015This apartment has everything: Large living rooms/bedrooms/bathrooms. Laundry room. Central air and even fireplaces. Great maintenance staff! August 13, 2015The Runaway Bay Apartments are some of the better apartments in the area. Very close to shopping and just a short drive away from Bethel College, IUSB, Ivy Tech, and ND. They are a bit overpriced for the amenities they offer. The complex boasts a fitness center, however, the fitness equipment is old and some of it is non-functioning. Several of the apartments also have old appliances. There are two ponds, the grounds are well kept and are generally safe. In addition to your monthly rent, you ...will be charged for trash removal and for allocated water and sewage, which is something they don't tell you about when you sign the lease. If you would like a garage or carport they are available as many of the residents here don't utilize them because again, there is an up-charge. This makes parking difficult especially after work hours. Maintenance is really quick and they will usually be to your apartment before the work day is over. If you are looking for a posh apartment, Runaway Bay is not for you, however, if you are looking for a safe & convenient location that is close to everything, you have found your home.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
