A gem to live in Shreveport!

We absolutely loved to live here. We have to move out of state because of job related relocation. Ms. Robbin was very professional and helpful at the front office. She is very dedicated to this community as we often seen her working around the complex during weekend. The ground crew is very active. They maintain a beautiful, clean yard and pool area. Shreveport. The rooms and washrooms are spacious with lots of storage space in the apartment. The walls of our apartment unit have really good insulation unlike some other apartments we lived in Shreveport so that we could not hear a thing from our neighbors. It felt like a real home. The neighbors were courteous and not noisy at all. We felt it’s a hidden gem to live in Shreveport. We will always cherish the time we lived in Sommerset Apartments in 2024.

Do not stay here unless you enjoy poor management and maintenance entering your home without your permission whenever they feel like it.
The below reviews are outdated and inaccurate
Lived there first year with no issues. Second year property manager changed and it was a horrible decision. Management is passive aggressive and rude and little to no, or inaccurate warnings are given before maintenance just walks into your apartment. When I complained about this to the home office I was told that ...
having reasonable warning is a courtesy and they didn't have to let me know anything. My right to privacy as a renter was disrespected and none of the repairs were emergency. I was also forbidden from renewing my lease in retaliation for calling home office. I was told this directly by the property manager. Trust me save yourself some time, money, and stress and look down the road for a new apartment.

I love my new apartment!! I've been here for a little over a month and I'm in heaven. Each of the apartments are beautiful and they come with all of your appliances such as dishwasher, stove, refrigerator, microwave and my favorite WASHER and DRYER!!! My view is beautiful; I have a balcony, a huge storage space and my dinning room has a gorgeous chandelier with a dimmer switch! It's so relaxing and peaceful I wish I would've moved in sooner.
