We gave a deposit for a 2 1 ( 950sq ft) on the second floor on a Friday, the following Wednesday we canceled our move-in altogether due to a change in work situation. Kudos to the owners of San Jule Apartments, they fairly returned some of that deposit and so I am leaving a positive review. The building is an older one, but kept nice and clean. carpet and the bathroom is big, has a 'clean' tub, and window which really opens any bathroom up. The carport is for 1 car and has a storage cabinet. Met a couple of neighbors who were friendly and seemed easy going, the place is pet friendly (we have a dog and it was very hard to find a pet friendly place), the manager was communicative, straight-forward, and pleasant during our rental interaction - it's a good place to rent. The cherry on top for me would have been the 1 mile commute to work but alas it was not meant to be. The location is in close proximity to TJ's and other markets, as well as Sunnyvale having its own flair akin to small towns with a cute downtown. Diverse, too, which is important to us. You have to appreciate the older buildings with their spacious pads and charisma. This place would have been a good fit for us and again, we appreciate the fairness of the owners and what likely would have been a solid manager, property manager, and owner.
