Break ins
January 27, 2025Imagine being sold on paying an additional fee for "security" every month for a peace of mind and walking out to go to work and finding your car broken with the no rims and tires sitting on the floor. Then imagine from other reviews that there have been other car break ins within the last couple weeks and no messages have gone out to notify residents of the issues and how the issue is being mitigated. This makes the 2nd break in for our family, I can only imagine how many more issues like this ...go unheard of. There has to be a level of comfort for theives to keep returning.Property Manager Responded
February 24, 2025Thank you for your comments. We do not charge residents a security fee. As a company, we do everything we can to take care of our residents, however each person remains responsible for his or her own safety. While we can't prevent crime from happening, we do take steps to promote preventative measures. We never want our residents to experience crime at home, or anywhere else. As always, we are in touch with local authorities when crime occurs either at our community or in the area.

Extremely horrible management, low quality property
April 11, 2023Management at this property is horrendous. Since being taken over by Knightvest, the front office has become even less responsive, and does not take responsibility for any of the issues in the property. Water has been out for multiple days at a time, people have been locked out after hours due to a malfunction on the electric locks, and multiple packages have been stolen on a regular basis. Every single time there is an issue, management claims it is not their problem and is the third party's ...problem because they have delegated responsibility over every meaningful aspect of the property to a third party service provider, and are unable to help residents. Very difficult to get help during short hours and phone line typically just goes to voicemail. Beware of five star reviews, they are likely paid for by management. There are plenty of newer, cheaper, better maintained apartments nearby. No need to live in a place that is right next to construction for the next few years.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Great community
February 23, 2021I moved from Ohio to Texas and had no idea where to live. The staff at San Simeon have been gracious and accommodating in our transition to this wonderful city. Extremely disrespectful management

December 10, 2020Amil 2121 is located in the most ideal area of Montrose. Its not that far at all from grocery stores and tons of food options. Close to very nice bars and lounges for a great night out right down the street. The park across the street makes working out and being active so easy and fun. December 7, 2020I do want to say that we moved from another AMLI complex and were excited to stay with AMLI. We needed a two unit apartment and when we walked into our current unit it felt like home. December 7, 2020I have lived at the AMLI 2121 for the past 3 years and I love it. The location is perfect, close to the walking and bike trails at bayou park and shopping. We haven't had any issues while living here that would leave a bad impression. The office staff are stellar, always responsive and the friendliest I've ever encountered.
