Horrible Customer Service

The front office is disorganized, dishonest and extremely rude. You have so many choices when it comes to where you chose to live. Make sure they have a reputation of honesty and customer service. This is an example of a place you do not want to live. Just read all the other reviews. I wish I had never set foot in this place.

Stay away from this place, rents are too high for a non updated complex (like the 90s) they don't take care of big things, too many dope dealers and sketchy people now, hardly feel safe there. In the end they will try and rip you off at every instance and they ignore and not communicate with you (wont give me a call back and are Never there to take my call?) I'd be surprised if hot tub works, it was broke for 8 months. Again, stay away, too many good complexes around for the money.

Agree, communication is bad

Got bill for $2600 after we left and paid last months rent. Charging us for Pro-rated, damages (none),over $100 per month for water bill. Not taking care of the smell of dope smokers upstairs. Huge rats all around, hot tub didn't work for over 8 months, my countertop not fixed after 2 years of asking, trash makes it hard to even get to dumpster, and these apartments not updated. Do yourself a favor and stay away. Wish they would return my calls, thinking seriously of taking them to court. I ...

Good for a first apartment, but bad with communication

This apartment was a great price for me and my two roommates, but we had a lot of issues with communication over the year and a half that we lived there. It would have been nice if they were more proactive about communicating expectations for rent increases, costs associated with moving out, etc.

Horrible Management - Run Away While You Still Can

This management company has a clear disdain for the residents. Constant high turnover of staff, nasty and standoffish attitudes and horrible maintenance scheduling/follow through. Run away now while you still can, they put on a good face for new incoming residents- but the management staff here is horrible. Many tenants have had to go above their heads to the parent company (Rockwood Capital) to get their concerns addressed because the property manager (Lisa) is a horrible horrible ...

A good place to start

Me and my wife moved here to the area about 11 months ago, and we have enjoyed it. The place is definitely not the best around, but the staff is friendly and the maintenance guys are quick to respond. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a place in Garland TX.

I have lived in my apartment since June 2013 and I love it. I can quickly run to the grocery store, my bank, or several restaurants without running into traffic. There are also several gyms nearby if you want to go to classes instead of using the one in the apartment complex. The walls are thick and oftentimes I forget I have neighbors until we come out of our apartments at the same time. The managers try to plan quarterly events so we can come together and mix and mingle. The few times I ...
have needed maintenance they have been quick to respond. SevenOaks is conveniently located near highways 75 and George Bush. I was able to work in Mesquite, downtown Dallas, Plano, and McKinney without having to move. Only issue was when I worked out of Dallas because I had to plan the timing due to traffic. Love this place!

I've enjoyed living here the past 3 years! Maintenance is quick to respond to issues, which are very rare. Leesa has been awesome in the leasing office. They try to have social events monthly, and even contests where winners get a discount on next month's rent. And the location is perfect for me. The tollway hum is soothing. My only complaint is the increases. But thats common with apartments in general.

Me and my wife have lived here about 6 months. We live on the bottom floor. In the two bedroom, one bath layout. We love the open concept from the living area to the kitchen and dinning area. We also love the walk throw kitchen and bathroom that connects between both rooms. The down side to the second bedroom is that it has French doors that would need curtains to keep privacy if used for more then a study. Minor flaws on the inside that can be tolerated and expected in older apartment. Can hear upstairs neighbors walking around sometimes. Complex is pet friendly, plenty of people have dogs that they walk. Pool area is above average but hasn't been as clean from leafs as much as we would think or like. Overall the apartments are reasonably priced for the quality of living that one would expect for area.

This apartment is at a great location. It is near Firewheel Mall, several local hospitals and literally right next to Kroger. The complex has two pools, a weight room, and a laundry facility. The apartments have spacious walk-in closets and great floor plans. The only thing that could use improving is the maintenance in the time they respond to your requests.

Seven Oaks, a good place to start

My wife and I moved to the Dallas area after I started a new job. we wanted to be somewhere safe and reliable, so when we found seven oaks, we couldn't be happier. While it is not the Ritz of apartments, it's a good place to start when you just get to Dallas. The staff is nice and reliable, and make the buying process very easy.
