Seventeen Mile Drive Village - Has Made Me Very Happy!
October 28, 2025I left my house that I lived in for 24 years to move to Pacific Grove to be closer to our relatives. I was very worried about the idea of renting, especially because I am a very particular person who wants everything perfect, I had my doubts that anyone would meet my standards - I was wrong. From the moment I met Dixie and Francisco at 17 Mile Drive Village I started to feel very much at ease. They made all of the changes I wanted to our apartment, to exactly the way I wanted them, every ...little detail was perfect! I actually found it hard to believe, but they did it, and they made me feel so comfortable and at home that all my anxieties melted away. I really can't thank them enough for them making what I feared would be an incredibly bad situation into one I truly enjoyed. But being a bit of a cynic, I then thought that this joy couldn't last, and after moving in thought the service and happiness would fade - I was wrong again. That was a year and a half ago, and to this day they still take incredibly good care of us and see to all our wants and needs. I couldn't be happier, I'm in one of the most beautiful places in the world, in one of the nicest places in the world, with two of the kindest people in the world!Property Manager Responded

Professional service, excellent care
July 10, 2024Dixie and Francisco are an excellent team and work hard to manage the property, grounds and people. Francisco always comes prepared to solve a maintenance issue. He rarely is defeated by mechanics in a 30 plus year old property! As he fixes the item, he makes sure we are all set and always asks if we need anything else. That's superior customer service! Best Apartments in town
July 8, 2024This apartment community is to die for. Besides its fantastic location in a grove of Monterey pines a short walk from the beautiful Pacific coast, it is a smaller, peaceful apartment complex that is well-maintained and cared for. You really have everything you need and more! Apartments each have wood burning fireplaces and the amenities include a fitness center, pool and hot tub. Staff members Dixie and Francisco were so helpful in getting me set up and always promptly took care of any ...concerns. You can tell they like their jobs. This is a great place to live. Great place to live
June 25, 2024My roommate and I are attending a Masters program nearby and found these apartments ideal for our living situation. With two bathrooms and bedrooms about the same size, we each have our own private spaces and the common area is large enough to share too. Love Living Here
March 1, 2024I have lived here for several years now and love it. The property is beautiful and incredibly well maintained. Francisco and Dixie are amazing and are cornerstones of part of what makes living here a little slice of heaven. Amazing Location, Amazing Staff
January 13, 2024Its always stressful conducting a military PCS move and looking for the right place in a new area. 17 Mile Drive Village was the best choice I came across and made my entire 18 month stay in Monterey very worthwhile. Dixie and Francisco are the staff responsible for the community and they are both genuinely great human beings and dedicated to making your stay here very enjoyable. I have nothing but great things to say about them and how they manage the community. The apartments themselves are ...very nice and modern, any issues that came up were quickly handled by Dixie and Francisco. One of the best parts about the community is its close proximity to Asilomar Beach making a walk along the beach a daily routine. Dedicated Staff Makes All the Difference
December 6, 2023The apartments itself, the park like property, and amazing location set this place above the rest. But it’s the care and attention of the staff that make it the absolute best. Francisco, who does all the maintenance, takes care of us all like family. It doesn’t matter if it’s a simple lightbulb needing replacing, a dishwasher gone crazy, or an unexpected leak, he treats every request with the utmost importance and is somehow able to fix absolutely everything no matter how technical.
