Greedy Business
January 16, 2019It was nice living there for three years as consistent, polite, and good tenants. Yet, in the end, the management and the ownership run a Apartment racket that’ll give you a run for your money when you leave. Not only did they not warn us about a “military clause” when they knew we planned to move out, but the walk out inspection was conducted and I was assured with an invoice that I would get a majority of my security deposits back. Be assured, after we moved out, they waited long enough to ...turn over the rental that we never saw a penny of that “military clause” deposit. That security deposit? Not a cent either. Not even a phone call explaining why, minus the phone calls demanding money. The paint they used in some places was so cheap that using Lysol wipes would remove the paint. The carpet will dethread itself under a vacuum, and the cheap tiles will bubble with thier heap wrapped faux texture. Know that the place is built as cheap as humanly possible, and you will pay a premium to fix it. Avoid Summer Winds if possible.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

August 19, 2016YOU DON’T WANT TO LIVE HERE !!!! If I could give ZERO Stars I would. The on-site property manager along with the home Management Company conspire to cheat tenants. Prospective tenants are promised many things – among them a longer lease term, but then are presented – without warning or notice - with a lease to sign which fails to give the promised lease term (this is fraud committed for profit – which is illegal in California). When I confronted the on-site property manager about the “mistake” ...in my lease term, she yelled at me saying: “If you don’t like it – move out!” PLUS – very few – if any – of the appliances worked – or didn’t work properly. And they don’t check them before you move in – so you are stuck with them. AND they have limited weekly “repair” hours – and don’t make repairs on weekends at all ! (Made it impossible to have repairs made when you work and don’t want repair people in your apartment unless you are home at the time.) PLUS their on-site resident “repairman” doesn’t know how to fix anything correctly. For the above reasons (and SO many others I am unable to list here due to length restrictions), you DON’T WANT TO LIVE HERE !!!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Excellent Facilities
October 11, 2015Summerwind keeps their apartments and grounds in tip top shape! We love the facilities and the roomy feel the apartments have. Maintenance has helped us several time and they are both kind and competent. The only complaint we have is we wish there was more ample parking.Review from Apartments.com
