Unfortunately, my experience with this apartment complex has gone downhill since the change in management. Under the previous management team, we were clearly told that a referral discount would be honored on our rent. After the new management took over, they have refused to honor that agreement.
What’s most disappointing is not just the refusal, but how unprofessionally the situation has been handled. There has been little care or accountability shown toward current residents who consistently ...

As loyal residents who have upheld our end of the agreement, it’s frustrating to feel dismissed and undervalued. I would caution prospective residents to get everything in writing and be aware that management promises may not be upheld after changes in staff.

As I went to tour the property, the outside was very clean, not dirty literally perfect before I even got to the inside. It was surprising and definitely put a smile on my face how well they take care of their things. I continued the tour of the apartments and they were absolutely perfect. Very clean , lots of space, smells excellent, nothing is broken . Like they definitely spent there time making it comfortable for others to live in. if anyone is considering coming to stay in any apartments ...

I’ve lived at this apartment 90 days. It’s affordable but the affordability comes with a cost. The staff isn’t interested in keeping up the property, there more concerned with there parking spots. We receive mass emails weekly about someone parking in “staff parking” although I’m sure it’s frustrating for staff imagine living here. I’ve had multiple packages stolen due to the leasing office being open during normal hours but not grabbing the packages and putting them in the mail room. There isn’t ...
any trash cans around the property or in the garages so the lobby and hallway always have trash everywhere. The office staff doesn’t seem interested in anyones concern or responding to emails. I would highly discourage anyone from living at this property.

The staff here is incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable at their jobs. They made the entire process so easy. The apartments are absolutely beautiful. The location is amazing! I work with a lot of different apartment complexes, helping move people in and I have not had a better experience than at Shelby House. They have a huge dog park in the courtyard and several grills. The location is right off of the interstate right next to downtown.

Once I heard about the development of Shelby House, I hopped right on the website and filled out an application. Within just a few short months I was approved and ready to move!
