Positive Changes at Sheridan Park
September 29, 2025I just wanted to share some thoughts about the new management at Sheridan Park. Yes, it’s been a bit challenging adjusting to the new rules, but sometimes change is necessary before it even arrives. I did notice a significant increase in my utility bills initially, but after the guest parking and parking rules were implemented, my bills actually decreased. I’m guessing the unauthorized occupants are finally being added to leases, so that’s definitely a win in my book. The community is being ...cleaned consistently now. People often complain about trash, but honestly, many just leave their garbage outside the compactor and expect maintenance to clean up. I've even seen kids and adults dumping trash and furniture and then complaining about how the property looks. If folks would take responsibility, it’d be a lot better for everyone. Overall, the new management has made a great impact—from installing new fences, ongoing construction improvements, to having an incredibly helpful office team. So to those who are complaining, maybe take a look in the mirror because you’re part of the problem. Thanks for listening!Property Manager Responded

Not recommended- poor management and maintenance
May 31, 2025If you’re considering moving into Sheridan Park Apartments — I do not recommend it. The back gates are broken all the time and stay open for weeks without repair. Pest control? I can’t remember the last time it was done — there are ants everywhere. Trash pickup is inconsistent, and bins are often overflowing. I’ve been living here for 3 years, and it’s been getting worse under the new management. They do not prioritize residents’ comfort or communication. A Great Place To Live
June 3, 2018I love this complex!! It’s so peaceful. I’ve been here for year & moving out due to family reasons or I would’ve stayed longer. The manager is nice & so helpful. Maintenance has been great & always responds quickly. I would recommend this complex to anyone looking for a safe & tranquil place to live. I haven’t had any issues at all. March 27, 2018I've been here almost 2 years. I've seen 3 management changes, the current staff is incompetent and rude. Good luck getting any request in. They changed the gate code to a call system that doesn't work half the time to let guests in. My AC has broken SEVEN times living there for 2 years. Bad customer service
March 1, 2018Do NOT rent here. They office staff are horrible and unhelpful. I’ve requested my AC to be fixed several times since July 2017 and it still is not working. Supposedly requests are to be completed in 24 hours but this does not happen. Obviously. They are too busy making the outside look pretty to fix the inside. Painting the patios and putting in new light fixtures but leaving residents with no AC. This is Texas and the weather changes from day to day. We need a working heater and AC to live ...comfortably. The temperature inside my apartment last night got up to almost 80 even though the temp outside was low. I couldn’t sleep and neither could my 4 month old son. I had to sleep with my windows and patio door open which is completely UNSAFE just to get it cool enough for my baby to get some rest.Property Manager Responded

Make sure you really want to live there...
May 24, 2017Besides all the hassles of living there, even if you pay your rent on time and never had a single complaint they will refuse to answer inquiries from the new place you want to rent from after you move out (this has happened to multiple people). so I hope you like living there because you can move in but you don't get to move out without some serious hassles. Also make sure you verify the date you leave because when we gave back our keys they were to busy to give us a receipt and then they charged ...us for extra time even though we left on the last day of our lease we can't prove it because they didn't give us a receipt. Great place to stay
May 1, 2017I just moved into Sheridan Park! So far I am loving it! I will mention that I had a great leasing agent who was working with me during the move in process. Marcus was very informative, genuine, and willing to go the extra mile to make sure my experience was great! The apartment is very nice in furnishing and I love my yard. Sheridan Park: A Great Place to Live!
September 25, 2015Love living here! It's close to the DART train and convenient travel on Hwy. 75, Hwy. 190. Sheridan Park is quiet and peaceful in a park-like setting. Next to the Oak Point Nature Preserve and Collin College. Very safe and staff very proactive with requests. One of the best things about here is the maintenance. Any request I've sent has been answered and taken care of well within 24 hours. I feel very safe and secure in my place. My car has always been safe and I've never had a problem ...finding parking. The residents and staff are polite and friendly. The location is great and a really fun neighborhood to live in. I highly recommend this complex!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
