Write a ReviewLocated a mere twenty or so miles northeast of the booming city of Dallas, the hotspot of Plano is quickly on the rise. From down-home neighborly charm to a budding economic base, this Texas destination has become a fast favorite with both young professionals and growing families alike.
Plano was incorporated in 1873, coming on the heels of the newly completed Central Texas Rail. Despite a massive fire a few years later, the city would rebuild its downtown square and grow at a steady pace through the turn of the century, with the farming community slowly evolving to become a destination for large national brands such as JC Penny and Frito-Lay.
Residents of Plano apartments can expect typical Texas weather patterns, highlighted by hot summers that can stretch well into September, and rainy, storm-laden springs. Winter can occasionally bring with it snow but typically small accumulation, and fall tends to be comfortable.
DART light rail services much of the Plano region, and bus service is also in high supply. The Dallas-Ft. Worth International Airport makes getting away a breeze for Plano apartment denizens, and while public transport is in high supply, many area residents still maintain ownership of at least one personal vehicle.

Suffice to say, locals will not have a tough time filling those oh-too-short weekend hours!
