). Sheridan Square Apts. has a great management team, who address any issues that may arise. They have a community room where they have weekly activities throughout the week, including Bingo and Card Games. They also have a media/computer area for those wanting to watch movies on the big screen, or needing to catch up on e-mail with the grand-kids. Sheridan has many services, Like our Mini-Bus, available to seniors and disabled to help them get around town, to their doctor appointments, hair appointments, shopping, etc. The VA Hospital also has transport for veterans who also live here, like myself. Across the street we have the Sheridan Senior Center, which has a plethora of activities of seniors, including a restaurant type Lunch, 'meals on wheels' activities, crafts, plays, music, etc. Right behind the Senior Center is Whitney Commons, a local city park, and oh, so, beautiful, with walking paths and all. And Just 3 block west (And connected by a path and a bridge over Big Goose Creek to Whitney Commons) we have 'Kendrick Park', a huge Park, Named after our 1st Governor whose mansion overlooks the park, and is a historic attraction which you can go and see. There we have activities for all ages, from 2 to 102. We have a playground, picnic area, amphitheater, swimming pool, tennis, basketball courts, and a wildlife area with both Elk and Bison (They both had baby calves this past month. So cute.) Sheridan Square Apartment is a well run facility. It isn't Trump Towers, but it doesn't have to be. For the last 5 years, every time a tenant left, they totally refurbished the apartment, from top to bottom. I moved in before they started this, but my apartment is still nice. They try to be on top of maintenance issue ASAP. I've lived in lots of apartments, and considering everything, for the price I pay, I'm getting a bargain! And the Apt. Mgr. Rocks!!!
