My wife and I lived together at Sherwood Meadows Apartments for the last 2.5 years. We started in a 1 bedroom and had to upgrade to a 2bd / 2bth. Both apartments were spacious for our needs. Having the garage was so helpful as well. Which is included with all units. The 2bedroom was a good size and was able to fit our growing family after we welcomed our first child back in January. The apartments were in great shape and modern. The people around us were all kind and welcoming. Bonita was great ...

talking with especially when she knew we needed a larger unit made it easy on me and my wife who was pregnant at the time. She is very personable and doesn’t make you feel like a bother as if you’re just another customer in line. Mike and the maintenance team were pleasant to call and they are very efficient when it comes to repairs or requests needed. Can’t recommend them enough. We recently bought a house but would have stayed longer as we enjoyed our time there.

They did a bait and switch where the apartment I was shown (and told I would be put in) was not the one I was put into when I arrived from out of state with a moving truck. They put me in a smaller apartment, charging me the same amount but I had already given deposit and come from out of state. The complex manager also was careful not to warn me that they only have connection for gas dryers so tack on another $20 per month to rent one from them. The package receptacles at the mail box station, ...

don’t work and packages are stuck in them and landlord doing nothing to get the postal service to give us our property inside them. Faulty fire alarms, missing screen doors, lope sided cabinet doors, paper thin walls (I hear every conversation my neighbors have), vinyl flooring popping up. I would not recommend living here to anyone unless they were half deaf,had an outside storage unit for everything you thought was going to fit in here, being woken up by fire alarms that go off for no reason, have an off site postal box, and don’t mind being lied to. Oh and don’t forget all the fun that comes from the bugs from the drainage ditch that runs behind the complex.

I am sorry you placed a deposit on a unit but received a different one from out of state. I can see how that can be confusing trying to rent an apartment before seeing it. I can assure you if you were charged the same rent that it was the same style of apartment. We were allowing people to bring their own washers and dryers so that 20 fee was only if you needed to rent one of the companies. We address any issues in the apartment in a timely manner and if you have a lope sided cabinet or an issue with the floor please place a work request and we will be happy to fix any issue for you. Unfortunately it is apartment living and not private homes so you may hear your neighbors on occasions as with any apartment community. We take every necessary step to provide everyone with a peaceful calming place to call home. I am unsure of the issues with the postal box because they are all working just fine but if you do have an issue you can always call the property manager who will assist you with ...

Apartment is terrible

I live here now and will be moving out soon for many reasons. They say it is 24 hour service, however the guy in charge is never there and is almost impossible to get ahold of, he is nice but busy and does not have time to help with problems we are having. There are little kids running around screaming everywhere, Cars parked everywhere in our driveway that shouldn't be there, not good quality cabinets or appliances already having issues with them, Construction vehicles and loud noises ...

constantly, not worth the quality for the price, rent continues to go up all the time. Oh and when it says washer and dryer included, they charge you for it after a few months it is a monthly cost. Do not believe it when they said 24/7 service, it is the complete opposite of that.

I am sorry you are unhappy with the service you have received. We do have 24 hour service someone is always on call I can only assume your not calling the correct emergency line. We handle all emergency's at the time we are notified. Rent has only increased to include the washer and dryer so everyone does not have to buy their own. When the building was built we included washers and dryers for free as a promo while making everyone aware they would be included in rent as some point. We are very family oriented here and welcome familys with children. I appreciate your feedback.

These are so nice my husband and I can't believe we didn't hear about them sooner. Brand new, top-of-the-line amenities and in situated in such a perfect location. Our neighbors are really nice, management has been on top of things and we're so happy to have our children in a great school district. No pool or gym but who cares when you have an attached garage! Couldn't be happier here.
