TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH LEASING OFFICE AND MANAGEMENT SUPPORT
February 19, 2026I lived at Sky at Chandler Airpark for more than two years. While the community and apartment complex are amazing, the Management Group and leasing office are the biggest headache you will ever deal with. I could write a book’s worth of complaints, but I will say this: if anyone deserves their flowers, it’s Austin. He is the most competent person in the leasing office, so if you must work with anyone, I recommend him. Everyone else has been either incompetent, unwilling to help, or full of ...attitude. We were nothing but great residents. However, during the process of applying for a bigger apartment, they claimed my credit card payment for the application fee failed due to “insufficient funds.” They charged me an extra $50 and forced me to pay again with a cashier’s check (a huge inconvenience), even though I had plenty of funds. My bank statement proved the transaction went through, and I showed this to both the leasing office and management support. They cited “policy,” refused to look at the proof, and told me to dispute it with my bank. To this day, I haven’t received a refund for that $50. The issue was clearly a system error on their end, yet they refused to take accountability or make an exception. Fast forward to moving out: we terminated our lease early because a roommate moved out of state. We paid the agreed two months' rent and the prorated final water bill. Despite this, they sent an invoice for additional costs including another water bill, deep cleaning, full painting, and professional carpet cleaning ($200). The only valid charge was for damaged patio blinds and perhaps painting for mounted TVs. The carpet cleaning charge was completely unnecessary; the carpet had only normal wear and tear. They sent “documentation” photos of a clean carpet in one room and a normal furniture imprint in another to justify charging us for 3 hours of cleaning. When we questioned the charges, the leasing office referred us to management support in San Antonio, TX. That number always goes to voicemail. They claim they will call back but never do. In fact, my roommates got responses to their online reviews before we ever received a call back. My girlfriend left 4 voicemails with no response. To make matters worse, they lie in their replies to bad reviews. For example, they replied claiming, 'Our Account Resolutions Department previously discussed these details with you via phone,' which never happened. February 13, 2026DO NOT MOVE HERE> SHADY LEASING OFFICE/ MANAGEMENT After moving out, we were hit with excessive charges that were unjustified. ($200 for "stained carpets" $180 3 hour cleaning fee $100+ paint) When we requested proof or itemized evidence to support these move-out charges, management refused to provide any pictures or documentation. There was no clear explanation, no photos, or evidence - just a bill. It felt completely unfair and lacking transparency. When we attempted to dispute the charges, ...we were directed to call a number supposedly based in San Antonio, Texas. However, the number never connects you to an actual representative. You are forced to leave a voicemail stating that someone will return your call within two business days — and in our case, no one ever did. Repeated attempts resulted in the same outcome: voicemail, promises, and no follow-up. It feels like a deliberate barrier put in place to avoid addressing tenant concerns. Unfortunately, this was not our first issue with this leasing office. Earlier in our application process, we were double-charged for application fees. When we brought it to their attention, they refused to issue a refund despite the clear duplicate charge. That situation alone should have been a warning sign. Overall, the lack of accountability, refusal to provide documentation, poor communication, and unresolved billing disputes have left us extremely dissatisfied. Renters deserve transparency and responsive management, especially when it comes to financial matters. Based on our experience, I would not recommend leasing here.Property Manager Responded

Bugs, Fees and citations!
May 26, 2022Gave me a citation for weeds in the back yard blocked by a brick wall but when I brought up their own policy on vehicles with damage not meeting property expectations, they said they deal with it when they deal with it yet… funny enough, the same cars are always here! Additionally, the property never fixes things correctly, there are crickets everywhere… and I mean everywhere. The pools are closed half the time and the rent is outlandish. Not what it appears. Terrible construction, subpar service.
February 16, 2022The construction quality is horrible. There is nothing "Luxury", as they promote themselves, about hearing your upstairs neighbors toilet flushing down your wall. Unless you are on the top floor you are in for a very noisy experience. Im not exaggerating how loud it is. I once thought my tub faucet was turned on so went to check but it was the upstairs neighbor. It seriously sounded like it was IN my apartment. The plumbing is pretty bad as well. It's also not just the ceiling that is thin. If ...the people above you stomp or drop anything your walls will shake. It's like living inside of a drum. Very few speed bumps and signage and no enforcement of community rules means people here are generally rude and drive way too fast. More than half of my experiences with the office staff have been bad. They are often rude and not the sharpest. One tried telling my gf that the gate opener doesn't use a battery and was rude to her for suggesting that she needed a new one.. It does use a battery by the way. Amenities are nice. DO NOT LIVE HERE
September 29, 2021DO NOT LISTEN TO REVIEWS THAT ARE FROM CURRENT RESIDENTS, THE WORST IS YET TO COME. We lived here 2020-2021 the building was new when we moved in so there were very few reviews, only ones cautioning about bugs and the frequent towing of cars. We decided to move in and take our chances. On the day of move in, the Management was horrible, they were so rude and difficult to work with. Our time there was fine, as long as you stick to the (very Strict ) rules they won't bother you. HOWEVER when we ...moved out they hit us with a $1,178 charge because they said they needed to replace the carpets, get a new stove top and paint the entire apartment. The carpets had normal wear, the "stain" literally just dirt is from my S/O moving their feet under their WFH desk. No pets, no children, just out feet walking on the carpet. They claimed that they needed to replace the stove top due to discoloration, again normal wear and tear from actually using something. We took great pride in our apartment and always kept it clean, paid rent on time, and never got a noise complaint. When I enquired about the fees, management stated that because everything was brand new when we moved in, and we are expected to return the place how we got it, everything had to be brand new when we moved out. Nice Property but Poor Move in experience
September 26, 2020No A/C day of move in and had to wait from Sat to Mon to fix, they did provide a portable cooling unit for our BR. Bath vent fan didn’t work and I removed a huge hair clog that was impeding draining the shower/tub. Floor had dirty footprints in LR. Had to change the AC filter it was dirty already. Leasing staff were responsive, no issues there. So chalk this lackluster review up to nobody doin a precheck prior to our move in. Awful property
August 2, 2020Noise travels easily through apartments. I live on the second floor and I can hear every step my neighbour takes, I can hear her husband snoring in bed and I can hear it every time they flush their toilet. Lots of residents have bug infestations. I’ve had crickets crawl through my vents almost daily for the last few weeks. No use of amenities for months and still paying full price. This property is Amazing
May 6, 2020I Just had a lease signed with Sky. I don't normally do the rating. However, I was impressed with the whole online application process especially with staffing, whenever you called they all seem to know the status of your application does not matter who is on shift, and they always pick your call. The place is amazingly clean, quiet, and I can't wait to finally move in. I will love to thanks Jillian one of the Leasing staff for taking her time to have a tour with us especially during this ...unprecedented time. Bug Infestation!
November 27, 2019Sky has a bug problem! My first night, I saw a sewer roach and since then, a full on Silver Fish infestation. When I contacted the management office about this, I was told to wait until from Sunday until Thursday, when their Bug guy comes to spray. I bought several bug repellants to remedy the situation, since I should be able to feel comfortable and safe in my own home from day one. After using all three products, I still found a Silver Fish on my bed tonight. This is disgusting and unacceptable ...living conditions and should have been adequately addressed, as it is a known issue, before any tenant moves in! I am afraid to place my food on the kitchen counter because I saw a few crawling out from the stove, and a lot in the bathroom, my closet, my bedroom, the living room. This does not feel like home to me. If you want to pay high prices to feel like you live in the ghetto, move to Sky and have you Raid bug spray ready!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
