This is my 2nd ever apartment and it's been a thrill. I have truly enjoyed every moment here. The Manager Cindy has been nothing but great and her maintenance staff has always fixed any issues I have had. Been nothing but a welcoming feeling since moving in. Thank you!

The apartments her are so beautiful and always up to date on modern looks I have been living here for the last year and have been treated with the upmost respect and have been amazed with how nice the complex is from other Tennants to management and to how well the apartments are kept up.

Management is very quick to respond to the needs of the tenants. The complex is clean and peaceful. Close to Ft. Polk with many service members who reside here and they, of course, are locked on and keep things pretty orderly at their residence. Maintenance is great and can fix just about anything. Five ***** stars!

Cause the management is a joke they don’t like to handle situation the right way. The maintenance workers don’t do they job right. They talk about the tenants. Corporate ain’t no help either !!! It’s a bad place to live and not worth my money or anyone else money. Poor place to rent from.

New Management is Wonderful. They made my move in very easy. One thing I admire the most was when deficiencies were found upon my move in, the management took full responsibility and never made excuses. They worked quickly to make things right and was always reassuring.

I have lived at Somerset Apartments in Deridder for about 3 years and I absolutely love it here. The new staff is wonderful, courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful. The new maintenance staff is top notch, even though very little maintenance is required on the apartments.
It is in a great location with shopping, banking, and dining facilities very close. I can walk next door to Walmart and buy a couple items instead of driving all over town for a months supply. Fort Polk is so close. Pets are ...

The 1 and 2 bedroom apartments are really nice, spacious, and updated. There is a lot of storage space and nice appliances.
It is close to Lake Charles, less than an hour from here.
I would highly recommend anyone looking for an apartment to live here. It is safe and secure.

Don’t waste your time or money

This is the WORST apartment I have ever lived in. There is no actual maintenance staff so you’ll be waiting weeks before they come to your apartment and when they do, they offer no solutions. They can come in every month to “inspect” but somehow can’t actually fix the things that aren’t working. I had to call 5 times before they came to look at my leaking shower and nothing has been fixed. The laundry room has one working washer and one working dryer. The others will steal your quarters. If you ...
ask who the landlord or building manager is, they’ll tell you they don’t know. I’m moving out before my lease is up because this place is so awful. Don’t bother.
