I've had a great experience living at Soundview Apartments. The location is convenient, with easy access to the beach, restaurants, shopping, and nearby areas. The apartment is comfortable, and the community is well maintained.
The management team has been friendly and responsive whenever I've had questions or needed assistance. Overall, Soundview Apartments has been a comfortable place to call home, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient location in West Haven.

The property manager is wonderful, there's a very warm and inviting atmosphere here. Its very peaceful, right by the ocean and has a private pool and gym! Plus is dog friendly. The apartments are HUGE! At least compared to what I am used to and it has great views.
Honestly, the only downside is the winter- the heating is impossible and definitely needs to be improved.

We moved in because the price was comparable to other locations listed in the area....but you get a view of the most beautiful beaches in CT. It’s truly luxury living. The inside is stunning, so much square footage. It is the same size as our previous Townhouse we were in. It’s super safe with ample parking. The shower pressure and air conditioning are fantastic. The restaurants that are within walking distance (Duffys, Stowes etc.) are delicious! It’s like you are on vacation living here. I wake ...

I lived here originally in 2013-2016 and recently moved back. We love the area, the boardwalk and the beaches! The apartments are amazing and the staff takes care of needs immediately. The staff are courteous and kind. We didn't want to live anywhere else and decided to come back home :)

We first moved in in 2018. Both elevators have been fully renovated, bringing much better reliability. We love the apartment, with easy access to the boardwalk, and appreciate that the building is pet friendly. The office staff has changed over a couple of times but overall we've had good experiences regardless of who's there. We moved in just after Christmas 2020, and are still not used to living with such fantastic views! Rhonda and Tom are very responsive, and can't thank Bobby enough for all the work he does. Only downside really of late is the wind blows everyone's trash in from across the street. Maintenance does a good job trying to keep up with it, but as windy as it gets, it is a tall task.

Having lived at the Soundview for exactly two years, I've seen the good, the bad, and the vast improvements. The first property manager I experienced was seemingly very disorganized, and not action-oriented. in implementing changes that greatly affect the community for the better. Sure, there are still issues. Occasionally water damage during torrential downpours, the windows are not the most insulated you'll ever experience during a New England winter, and the elevators continue to be a miniseries of inconvenience. But at least the elevators are being renovated, which will make living in the building infinitely better. To be honest, I've lived in brand new construction that had more maintenance issues than the Soundview, so I never encountered anything absurd or totally unacceptable in the last two years. Inconvenient? Certainly, but nothing insurmountable. It's a large apartment complex, obviously there will be concerns here and there; it comes with the territory. The upside is that Rhonda and her team seem to spring into action almost immediately, which is a welcomed change from what I've experienced in the past. Kudos to that team!
In closing, if you're looking for a reasonably priced, spacious two bedroom, two bathroom apartment located by the water and not far from grocery stores, restaurants, and downtown New Haven, the Soundview at Savin Rock is absolutely worth a look!

Thank you so very much for the kind words. The team at The Soundview strive daily to provide the best customer service possible. Together as a Team, we are working on making The Soundview at Savin Rock, "The Best it Can Be". We have had a few challenges with New England's famous Nor'easters! We are working constantly on solving problems and making any repairs and or renovations needed. Elevator upgrades are causing us some grief, but the light at the end of the tunnel is just ahead. Once this wonderful upgrade to our beautiful building is complete, the inconvenience will just be a memory! 2019 has been a great year and 2020 is going to be even better.
The Soundview has a wonderful since of community and I'm proud to be a part of it all. I invite everyone to join our family and live a vacation life everyday at the BEACH.
