Yes they have a pool, it's not bad. But I think half of Holt has a key to it. Tot play area,sand has broken glass, not maintained, and big hole for easy kidnpping. Volleyball..lol, two pole in yard. Be prepared to fight and be threatened to keep your legal rights. Wouldn't let my worst enemy move there.

Volleyball....lol, two poles in yard. And that is all the good points. Wicked witch who runs the place, Rebecca. Only wants the rent check. She doesn't care if you have heat or water....just pay! If you have done time in prison and miss it, May be the place for you

We have been living at South Square for about six months now and so far had no major problems. The carpet is coming up in a few places and a few of the drawers in the kitchen are hard to open and shut, and the fan in the bathroom is wired together with the light so you can't turn them on separately. The pool is very clean and orderly, and all amenities are kept up. This apartment complex is in a great area, with many restaraunts within a 5 minute drive and plenty that deliver. Banking near by and ...
grocery stores within walking distance. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone interested! Especially with Lansing being only 18 minutes away, you'll never not have something to do.

I am on my second year at this complex and I plan to stay for a third. Recently the management has gone out of their way to upgrade the grounds and the pool area. I hear they are remodeling units too!
Other places that I looked at in Holt did not include the heat in the rent. This place was $50-$100 less per month and it includes the Heat!

I have lived here for a couple of years and I would highly recommend south sqaure. The apartments are very well maintained. The location is perfect and the grounds are clean and quite. The people who live here are warm and inviting and you just feel at home as soon as you move in. The staff is wonderful, they are kind and really take the time to make you feel like part of a community. Going downhill, fast

When I first moved in a couple years ago it was actually a great deal. Then a new supervisor took over earlier this year and things have been getting more and more difficult.
1) Heaters keep breaking. They're old and the company refuses to replace them.
2) Maintenance staff overworked. Because they're too busy fixing heaters other maintenance issues get further and further delayed.
3) Supervisor never picks up. Even though she seems to be working to upgrade the grounds, the actual apartments ...
are suffering unaddressed issues.
I can't afford to move, otherwise I would have moved this past spring when my lease was up. I'm currently searching like crazy for a new place to leave that I can, hopefully, afford soon while I debate whether I'm going to buy a space heater.
